Ian Flynn is best known for his work on the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series. At one point though, he was also now hoping to be involved with another big franchise: Mario.

On Twitter, Flynn revealed his pitch for a new Super Mario Bros. comic. He says that it was “well received” at Nintendo of America, but “stalled out” at the company’s Japanese headquarters.

In any case, here’s the full pitch:

Square Enix has released a new update for the Dragon Quest XI S demo. Players can now access version 1.0.1.

With today’s update, Square Enix is looking to address errors and crashing that were originally reported. If players continue to experience issues, more updates should follow.

Digimon Survive

Bandai Namco has announced its lineup for this year’s Tokyo Game Show. Between trailers and playable games, the show will be featuring Digimon Survive, Little Nightmares II, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, and more.

The eShop has updated in both Europe and Japan with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Lite Version. We expect it to go live in North America as well when the store updates later today. By downloading Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Lite Version, you can experience the first five episodes of the Story Mode, online battles, the Hero Colosseum, and Photo Mode.

Note that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Lite Version will only be distributed until November 29. After that, it will be removed.
