Decapolice delayed

The latest on Decapolice was shared today during the Level-5 Vision 2023 II presentation with a delay announcement. According to president Akihiro Hino, the game’s launch has moved to 2024. It was originally announced for this year.

Hino explained that “this title possesses a vast open world of unprecedented size” and the team “decided to take a little more time.” He added: “We aim to build a dense and immersive world, filled with opportunities to play. Various incidents will occur in many different locations.”

Professor Layton New World of Steam 2025

Professor Layton and the New World of Steam just popped up during the Level-5 Vision 2023 II event with the news that the Switch game is launching in 2025.

Professor Layton and the New World of Steam was revealed for Switch during a Nintendo Direct earlier in the year. Not counting Layton’s Mystery Journey which focused on Katrielle, this will be the series’ first new entry in a decade. Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy previously came to 3DS in 2013 (2014 in North America).

Inazuma Eleven Victory Road beta test

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will be hosting a beta test in March 2024, Level-5 just announced. This comes as part of an update that was just shared during the Level-5 Vision 2023 II event.

The beta test will be held on Switch worldwide. Level-5 is holding the beta “to make final adjustments in preparation for the long service duration.” Players will be able to access online matches, single player, and a test of the story mode that will unlock gradually.

Fantasy Life i Summer 2024

During the Level-5 Vision 2023 event, news was shared about the launch timing for Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time was originally planned for this year. However, it was announced that the game would be delayed to 2024 earlier this month. We were actually expecting a proper release date today, but it seems we’ll need to wait a bit longer on that front.

Megaton Musashi Wired release date

During the Level-5 Vision 2023 II event today, Megaton Musashi: Wired received a final release date. The game launches worldwide on April 25, 2024.

The origins of Megaton Musashi: Wired go as far back as 2016 when Level-5 first introduced the IP as is next cross-media franchise. While the original game did come to Switch at the end of 2011, that only happened in Japan. Megaton Musashi: Wired will now be receiving a worldwide release for the first time.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update 3.0.1

Following the final drop of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, Nintendo has issued another update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – now version 3.0.1.

Arcade Archives Scramble

Hamster today announced the latest entry in the Arcade Archives series, which will be Scramble Formation. A worldwide release is scheduled for November 30, 2023.

Scramble Formation, made by Taito, originally came to arcades in 1986. Players can make use of three formations – balanced for air-to-air and air-to-ground projectiles, one that’s ground specialized, and one that’s air specialized.

Arcade Archives Scramble Formation will be distributed digitally on the Switch eShop. Pricing is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Sociable Soccer 24 delayed

Sociable Soccer 24 is going to take a bit longer for its Switch launch, as the game is seeing a delay. Tower Studios says it’s still in submission with Nintendo.

A new date confirmation should be coming soon. For the time being, Tower Studios anticipates an early 2024 launch.

Monster Hunter Rise collaborations ending

Monster Hunter Rise has been home to a number of different collaborations, but soon some of these will no longer be available.

For Sonic the Hedgehog, this applies to the game’s event quests, “Sonic Costume” Palico layered armor, “Canyne Tails” Canyne layered armor, Sonic figurine, Knuckles figurine, and Tails figurine plus the “Sonic Wear” Hunter layered armor.

F-Zero 99 update 1.1.0

Nintendo announced the new version 1.1.0 update for F-Zero 99 yesterday, and we now have the patch notes.

As previously mentioned, Classic mode has been added. Lucky Ranks gameplay is in as well. Some other adjustments and changes are also a part of the update.
