April 2: As shared by SEGA, Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut is on the way to Nintendo Switch 2. It will be sold as an exclusive to the system.
Fans can expect new additions here. Even if you’ve played the game before, it’ll come with new story cutscenes plus a new “Red Light Raid” online multiplayer mode.

Another day of Nintendo Treehouse: Live is starting soon with another look at upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 games. Those that are interested can tune in starting at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 3 PM in the UK / 4 PM in Europe.
Street Fighter 6, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster, and more will be shown today. The broadcast should be roughly three hours long.

FromSoftware has come forward with the first details about The Duskbloods, its new Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive announced this week. Aside from learning more about its development history including how it started out as a game planned for Switch 1, we get concrete gameplay details here. February 6: 505 Games today shared more details about upcoming DLC for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, including release dates.
Three pieces of DLC will be dropping in February, March, and April. These story expansion packs expand the story lines of the RPG’s three main characters.
Nintendo Switch 2 to have improved Bluetooth connectivity

Switch 2 is making a number of improvements across the board compared to its predecessor, and Nintendo has said that one way this is happening is with Bluetooth connectivity.
During a roundtable interview, hardware design lead Tetsuya Sasaki confirmed that there will be improvements. It seems this is possible thanks to a larger antenna as well as an increase in the number of antennas. Ultimately consumers can expect better Bluetooth connectivity for the Joy-Con 2 controllers and other devices.

If you still plan on holding onto your Nintendo Switch 1 products, you might be interested to know that its controllers will be fully compatible with Switch 2, including with its exclusive games.
The Big N shared that news on its website. A note on one page states: “Nintendo Switch controllers can be used wirelessly and are also compatible with Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive games, but cannot be used if the games requires features unique to Joy-Con 2, such as mouse controls.”
Nintendo Switch Online N64 app for Switch 2 getting rewind and more

Nintendo has revealed that the Switch Online N64 app on Switch 2 is bringing along some extras, including the ability to rewind while playing games.
Rewind was already supported on the current Nintendo Switch, but only for some platforms such as NES and SNES. However, that was lacking when it came to N64 titles.

January 30: Skies Above will be getting a release on Nintendo Switch, publisher Flynn’s Arcade and developer HungryDingo announced today. No release window has been provided.
Skies Above is a pixel art action game. The objective here is to to help a Leviathan reach space by defending it from an endless robot army.

During today’s Nintendo Treehouse: Live event, official footage was shown that offered a graphics comparison for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch 2 vs. Switch 1.
This is one of the upcoming titles that will have extra bells and whistles on the new console. Aside from an improved resolution, the action is now at 60 frames per second rather than 30. That results in an experience that’s booth smoother and clearer. Especially with the comparison, that’s especially evident. Loading is significant improved as well.

NVIDIA posts announcement about its work on Nintendo Switch 2

Just like the original Switch, Nintendo partnered with NVIDIA on Switch 2. NVIDIA has now shared an official announcement regarding its work on the new platform.
The post goes over a couple of things that were officially confirmed earlier today with support for DLSS and ray tracing. On top of that, we hear that NVIDIA G-SYNC is used in handheld mode for “ultra-smooth, tear-free gameplay.”
