Tenebrea

Tenebrea will be appearing on Nintendo Switch, Bowl of Tentacles announced today. A release window hasn’t been provided.

Tenebrea is a first-person psychological horror game. Details other than that are light at the moment, but we know that it takes place in a student residence in Valencia, Spain.

Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions

April 2: Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions is in the works for Nintendo Switch 2, it’s been announced. The title is slated for 2026.

The project is a new game set within the Astroneer universe. If you’re interested in learning more, we’ve got the following details:

R-Type Delta HD Boosted physical

Today, Limited Run Games confirmed that it’s working on a physical release for R-Type: Delta HD Boosted on Nintendo Switch in the west.

There are plans for both a standard version and “Full Force Edition”. The latter includes the game, booklet, special box, double CD soundtrack, official fan book, lenticular poster, cloth poster, and art cards.

After it originally released in 2022, Kirby and the Forgotten Land saw new life this year with a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Not only did it offer technical improvements for the main game, but a brand new Star-Crossed World campaign was added.

Kei Ninomiya, a producer at Nintendo, has now spoken about the decision to bring back Kirby and the Forgotten Land for its Switch 2 Edition. He mentioned in an interview with Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream that they wanted “to expand the world even further”, and then that opportunity could be realized with the new console. It was also stated how there was a desire to get Kirby on Nintendo Switch 2 “as quickly as possible.”

Out of nowhere, Nintendo has just come out with a new “Close to You” animated video.

We’re not actually quite sure what this is as it was posted without any sort of explanation. But essentially, we’re treated to a very short “story” in which a toddler is going after his pacifier. Other than that, we can only be left to speculate what this is for and why Nintendo is releasing it now.


Twins of the Sun

Commando Panda today announced that Twins of the Sun, its new game for Nintendo Switch, is launching this week. It will be available on Thursday, October 10.

Twins of the Sun is an action adventure game that supports two-player co-op, meaning the whole campaign can be played with a friend. After a mysterious figure kidnaps kidnaps their sister, a pair of wins will set off to rescue her.

Ion Fury Aftershock DLC release date

A couple of years after it was initially made available, the Aftershock DLC for Ion Fury is finally heading to consoles, including Nintendo Switch. It’s planned for October 16, 2025.

There’s plenty of new content here for the first-person shooter. Aftershock adds a new campaign, new weapons, an Arrange mode, and more.

Here’s a full rundown:

Nintendo Switch Online is ringing in October with new icons for Mario’s Super Picross and Mario Party 3 icons. This goes for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

Both of these are “play to unlock” rewards, but it’s actually pretty simple. If you start up the SNES app and play Mario’s Super Picross for even a second, those icons will be made available to you. The same goes for Mario Party 3 on the N64 app, though that requires a membership to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack tier.

Shadow Corridor Collection physical

A new Shadow Corridor Nintendo Switch physical release has been revealed. A release is planned for October 30, 2025 with Arc System Works distribution.

The package will be sold over in Asia. Along with the series’ first game, you’ll be getting the sequel. English, Japanese,, Chinese (Simplified), and Chinese (Traditional) are included on the cartridge.

Hannah

October 2024: Today, QUByte Interactive announced a partnership with Spaceboy to publish the upcoming project Hannah. We don’t have a release window yet, but a release on Switch is confirmed.

Hannah is an emotionally driven 3D puzzle platformer that follows the journey of its protagonist as she dives into her past to confront her fears and unravel the mysteries of her childhood. The game is set in a surreal retro world with memories and nightmares in which players can climb ropes, swing, slide, solve puzzles, assemble gadgets and vehicles, and even use enemies to go unnoticed.
