Fire Emblem Heroes hosting Grand Hero Battle Revival – Kana: Dragon Spawn and more

Fire Emblem Heroes is kicking off the weekend with a few new events. One of the big ones is a Grand Hero Battle Revival with Kana: Dragon Spawn. He can be found in Special Maps and will be made your ally if defeated.
We should also mention that a new Relay Defense map is live in Special Maps, in which players need to protect their fortress to make it through an eight-turn defensive battle. Use a brigade of 20 Heroes and swap your active group of five every two turns.
Finally, the reward for the second round of the Heroic Feats event is here. Players can obtain a 4-star Berkut: Prideful Prince. There’s a cumulative goal of marching mage-type Heroes into battle a total of 30 million times to obtain him as an ally.

Retailers are starting to open pre-orders for Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster on Switch. First up is Amazon, and you can reserve the double pack of RPGs here.
Amazon also confirms a price point. Like Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster will cost $49.99.

When a game goes out for review, companies often place restrictions on what you can talk about. With the Luigi’s Mansion remake on 3DS, there’s something very specific that outlets weren’t able to reveal until release. For whatever reason, Nintendo didn’t want publications to share the name of the second Luigi-looking character in the co-op mode.
That name can finally be shared since Luigi’s Mansion has launched in North America. A screenshot showing the co-op partner can be found below.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 demo in the works, new footage

A demo for Dragon Quest Builders 2 was announced during a presentation for the game in Japan today. While there’s no word yet on a release date, it should be available sometime before the December 20 launch.
Square Enix is currently concentrating on finishing the main game. After that, the team will move forward on the demo’s development.

Mario Tennis Aces version 2.0.1 seems to have brought along an issue with it. When choosing Co-Op Challenge, players may encounter an error message and the game will be forced to close.
The good news is that Nintendo is aware of the situation, and intends to fix it soon. A fix will be implemented by October 16. That means Mario Tennis Aces should be getting another small update soon.

Monolith Soft recruitment message from Tetsuya Takahashi

Last week, Monolith Soft opened a new recruitment page on its website. The Xenoblade developer is looking for programmers, planners, artists, designers, and management.
The page was accompanied by a lengthy message from Tetsuya Takahashi, the boss of Monolith Soft. Takahashi explains why the company is seeking new employees, among other things.
