Digital Eclipse is bringing its Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord remake to Switch, the studio announced today. We have a confirmed release date of May 23, 2024.
Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord, one of the first Dungeons & Dragons-style RPGs for PC, first came out in 1981. Digital Eclipse’s rendition features modern graphics and improved party management, navigation, spellcasting, and combat.

Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection just dropped update 2.

Roguelike dungeon crawler NecroBouncer reaching Switch in May

Today, Ravenage Games and Alchemy Sheep announced that they’re putting NecroBouncer on Switch. The title is due out on May 24, 2024.
NecroBouncer is a roguelike dungeon crawler in which players dive into the neon-soaked underworld of a nightclub, playing as a necromancer-turned-bouncer. You can find more details in the following overview:

Political sim Democracy 4: Console Edition coming to Switch

Originally made for PC, Auroch Digital and Positech Games are teaming up to bring Democracy 4 to Switch with a new Console Edition. A release is scheduled for June 5, 2024.
Democracy 4: Console Edition, a political simulation game, involves players lead one of several countries and look to win their next election. They can choose policies, laws, and take other actions which will positively impact some areas of their country, while having a negative effect on others.

Another Dokapon game is coming to Switch with Dokapon: Ikari no Tekken having now been revealed for the platform. Biccamera, a retailer in Japan, just put up a listing for the title.
Dokapon: Ikari no Tekken originally released for the PlayStation at the end of 1999, but only in Japan. New features are planned for the Switch version of the board game RPG hybrid.

Nintendo Switch Online adds Extreme-G, Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls

Two more N64 games are joining the Nintendo Switch Online service with Extreme-G and Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls. Both are now immediately available.
Both of these titles are being made available as part of the Expansion Pack tier of Nintendo Switch Online. That membership also includes access to SEGA Genesis games.
