Slayaway Camp: Butcher's Cut

Next week, Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut will be added to the Switch eShop. For a look at the game, check out the video below.

The next update for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has started to role out. Version 1.3.0 is out now on Google Play, and it should be available very shortly on iOS.

Nintendo’s patch notes only mention the addition of new features and bug fixes. However, we know there’s quite a bit to the update. Nintendo previously confirmed that Fishing Tourneys were in the works, along with a record for fish and bugs as well as being able to plant, harvest, and water multiple flowers at a time in your garden.

If we receive any further information about today’s update, we’ll let you know.

Target is gearing up for a couple of interesting sales this weekend. Both have ties to Nintendo platforms.

First, all video games are included in a buy one, get one 50% off sale – sort of. Switch is excluded here, as is Wii U strangely enough. 3DS titles are valid, but not Detective Pikachu.

In what has essentially become a weekly ritual at this point, GameStop has restocked the Super NES Classic Edition. Get one here.

GameStop has been by far the most reliable retailer with SNES Classic Edition restocks. Unfortunately, other retailers haven’t caught up just yet.

Amazon and GameStop have both been taking pre-orders for the Octopath Traveler Wayfarer’s Edition. Now it’s Best Buy’s turn. If you’d like to reserve the special edition, do so here.

Nintendo Germany published a new announcement today covering Switch’s first birthday and its plans for the Leipzig Book Fair. In the press release, an update on the system’s sales was provided.

Switch sales in Germany have broken a ten-year record sales record previously set by Wii. The new console has sold more than 650,000 units in the country in its first year, outperforming Wii. Over 14 million Switch units have been sold as of December 2017.

Back in 2014, Arc System Works made Gotcha Racing for the 3DS eShop. Natsume published the game the following year.

Arc System Works now appears to be cooking up a sequel for Switch. Gotcha Racing 2nd has been rated for the console in Taiwan, hinting at an upcoming announcement.
