The newest G.E.M. Series Pokemon pre-painted PVC figure featuring Gary & Blastoise is coming to Japan this summer. With its release arriving in just a few months, pre-orders are starting to open. You can pre-order on either Play-Asia or AmiAmi.

This new figure has an estimated release window of late July. We have a few photos below.

Nintendo Switch

Switch did well for GameStop in 2017. In the retailer’s latest financial results, Nintendo’s console was mentioned as a big factor for driving sales. For the fourth quarter, GameStop’s hardware sales increased 44.8%, which was led by demand for Switch. And for fiscal 2017 as a whole, hardware sales rose 28.3% – again thanks to Switch.

During the financial call for GameStop’s financial results, one investor brought up Switch again. CEO Michael Mauler fielded a question about attachment rate, and whether it will continue to rise as more systems are purchased and the installed base increases.

Limited Run Games not only has a new physical release coming soon to Switch, but also a new game entirely. A tentative release date has been set for Saturday Morning RPG.

If you want to pick up the title as soon as possible, look for the digital version on April 23. The physical version is currently planned for May 29. This is all assuming that there aren’t any last minute delays.

FDG Entertainment just released an update for Blossom Tales this week. Version 1.0.1 added video capture, improved the Spanish translation, and fixed a few bugs.

Blossom Tales will actually be getting another update in the future. FDG Entertainment confirmed this on Twitter earlier in the week, but didn’t say when it will be available. We’re also hearing that the update will focus on additional language support, though it’s unclear if it will have any other additions, changes, or improvements.

Sometimes games see a surprise release on Switch without a mention in the official weekly Nintendo Download report. That happened once again this week, as Dragon Blaze landed on the North American eShop without any prior announcement. It was made available in Japan one day prior, so this isn’t too surprising.

Another Splatfest for Splatoon 2 is in the books. The latest North American competition, which had baseball and soccer going head to head, has concluded. We now have the results.

Team Soccer had a slight edge in popularity. Yet Team Baseball managed to secure 1% victories with both solo and team battles. That was enough to send them to victory, with a final score of 2-1 in favor of Team Baseball.

LEGO The Incredibles

Warner Bros. recently announced LEGO The Incredibles, and it’s heading to Switch in Japan. Insider managed to obtain a few details since then.
