The “Nindie” community is working together to highlight new eShop games across Wii U and 3DS over the next several weeks. High-profile titles will be discounted in North America by 10 percent during the first week of launch, and developers will share video stories about their projects development in the eShop. On top of that, these developers will curate a shelf in eShop which features some of their favorite games. All of this is formed as part of “#Nindies Summer Jam”.
Here’s a look at the release schedule:
Sept. 1
Axiom Verge from Thomas Happ Games – In this retro-style action-platform-exploration game, use the Wii U GamePad as your map, a way to easily swap between weapons or for Off-TV Play. A failed scientist dies in an accident, only to awaken in a mysterious, alien world. Where is he? How did he get here? And why do the fundamental laws of reality appear broken? Life. Afterlife. Real. Virtual. Dream. Nightmare. It’s a thin line. It’s Axiom Verge. Available on Wii U.

Nintendo announced today that it will acquire 70 percent of JESNET, a distributor in Japan. JESNET will now become a subsidiary as well.
Nintendo will be paying $47 million for the transaction. The plan is for JESNET to become a subsidiary in April.
The move will also see JESNET working together with AJIOKA, which is in the video game wholesale business.
It’s worth noting that JESNET has been distributing physical Nintendo products in Japan for many years. The company was founded in 1952 and has 80 employees.

Zero Time Dilemma pre-order watches now being sent to retailers
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 2 Comments
About a year before Zero Time Dilemma came out, Aksys took pre-orders for a limited edition version of the game. The publisher hoped to hook up fans who put in an early reservation with a special watch. But due to watches being damaged in transit, no one has received the bonus item just yet.
Yesterday, Aksys shared an update about the situation Twitter. Replacement watches arrived in the warehouse, and they’ll now be going out to retailers. That means Amazon and GameStop should finally be able to send out the watches very soon.
The official tweet reads:
We've received ZTD watches in our warehouse and we'll be sending these out to our retail partners. They will provide you w/ ship updates.

Palutena amiibo restock looks to be happening
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 7 Comments
Just like Lucina, the Palutena amiibo seems to be getting a reprint. Earlier this week, the figure’s official Children’s Product Certificate was updated. A new run of manufacturing was added in for this month (August).
You may want to look out for Palutena coming soon to store shelves once again. There’s no sort of exact date for her return, but the certificate suggests it’ll be sooner rather than later.
