New Super Mario Bros. Wii landed on the European Wii U eShop several hours ago as the latest Wii download. For a look at the title, view the video below.

Rift Frigate is currently in the works for Wii U and several other platforms. The game, which features “fast-paced ship combat”, will also include “an assortment of missions and game types, smooth controls and brightly colored graphics.” The developer also promises “fun core strafing-and-shooting gameplay” and lots of customization.

Rift Frigate could be finished by the end of Q1. Check out some footage below.

Update (1/7): Bumped to the top. It’s not listed on the product page, but GameStop indicated on Twitter that this offer applies to the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition as well.

Original (1/6): GameStop is planning a special pre-order bonus for Fire Emblem Fates. If you reserve the game, you’ll receive three character keychains. This is valid both in-store and online.

I’ve included a shot from GameStop’s ad showing the keychains above. Because the image was rather tiny, I increased the size so it’d be more visible. That naturally made it blurry!

Update: Wave 2 of the Animal Crossing amiibo are up now here as well. That includes Resetti, Blathers, Celeste, and Kicks. Animal Crossing amiibo cards series 2 pre-orders are up here.

Amazon has put up pre-orders for the Lucas amiibo. Get yours here. Lucas will be officially released on January 22.

Over 28 million physical games were sold in the UK last year. That’s a 6 percent drop year-over-year, but there is some good news for Nintendo. MCV reports that Wii U game sales rose slightly in 2015.

Data from Chart-Track, which provided the information, is based on 53 weeks of sales from 2015. 2014’s data had only 52 weeks.
