The name “Lilt Line” should be familiar to some of you. It was a rhythm action WiiWare game which saw release almost three years ago.

The game’s creator, Gordon Midwood, has now taken to Kickstarter to fund a sequel: “lilt line too!”.

Those who are interested can expect the following features to be included:

  • at least 20 new levels
  • longer levels, each one being a whole song in length
  • new game modes: fresh (full 3d environment) & classic (top down view)
  • local multiplayer (collaborative)
  • online multiplayer (combative)
  • new level innovations – height variations, speed & time changes, loop the loops…
  • all new music from the brilliant and diverse repertoire of ill.gates!

Midwood is looking to raise £15,000 before the Kickstarter campaign ends on October 12. At £45,000, “lilt line too!” will be assured development for Wii U.

We have yet another update on a monster included in Monster Hunter 4: Rajang. You can find screenshots and details covering Rajang below.

– Comes from an unknown habitat
– Attacks those trespassing on its territory
– Usually not spotted in the wild
– Back from Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
– Stomps the ground and swipes with its powerful forelegs
– Attacks can send hunters crashing to the ground as the earth trembles
– Can also snatch up hunters and crush them to death
– Its muscular forelegs will rip up the earth itself as a boulder and fling alarmingly fast and accurate boulders straight at hunters
– Pushing Rajang to its limits will cause it to enter an almost golden state, which hunters whisper in fear as Rage mode
– Charging electricity and light particles Rajang unleashes a pure blast of breath energy in a wide arc in front of him that will shock hunters and fry the unwary

Taxi Journey appears to be well on its way to Wii U. On the game’s Kickstarter page, a notice was posted confirming that there are now plans to bring it to Nintendo’s console.

The message states:

“Yes, it’s official! We couldn’t announce it at launch because we wanted to make sure this would not impact the stretch goals of the other platforms (especially the PS Vita that we really want to work on). As we can have a free Unity Pro license, we are now confident that we can deliver a Wii U version at a marginal cost at the same time as the Windows version. For now, it will be a simple port. We’ll see later on if we can add specific stretch goals.”

Taxi Journey is Lexis Numerique’s original puzzle/adventure game. The project has already raised over $9,500 of the $130,000 goal. Taxi Journey will have until October 12 to reach its funding target.
