The Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle came to a close today after launching two weeks ago. There’s no question that it surpassed last year’s Humble Nindie Bundle, and the final stats are definitely impressive.

Here are the results:

Total payments: roughly $1,576,000
Number of purchases: ~162,000
Average purchase: $9.74
Top three contributors: Anonymous ($300), 13AM Games ($251), Nintendo’s Damon Baker ($250)

How does that stack up to the Humble Nindie Bundle? Let’s take a look:

Total payments: roughly $750,000
Number of purchases: ~82,500
Average purchase: $9.18
Top three contributors: Nintendo’s Damon Baker ($500), PlayEveryWare ($225), Choice Provisions ($200)

Looking at the stats, the Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle sold about two times more than the Humble Nindie Bundle. It’s good news for all parties involved!

We have two pieces of news from Circle Entertainment. One concerns an already-released game while the other is about an upcoming title.

First, Circle mentioned on Twitter a few hours ago that a patch for Ash is coming soon. This will address some small issues with the game.

In other news, Circle has lined up its next title Coveni Dream for North America for May 26. It’ll cost $5.

Four Horses has nailed down a final release date for Digger Dan DX. The game is due out in both North America and Europe on May 19.

During the first two weeks, Digger Dan DX will be sold for just $0.99 / €0.99 / £0.89. It’ll go up to $1.99 / €1.99 / £1.79 after that.

Here’s a new trailer for the game:

The homebrew community has found that Citizens of Earth has a homebrew vulnerability on 3DS.

Something similar happened just recently. It was discovered that a homebrew exploit exists within VVVVVV, prompting its removal from the 3DS eShop. Citizens of Earth may end up with a similar fate.

This week’s Famitsu review scores are as follows:

Super Time Force Ultra (PS4/PSV) – 9/8/9/8
Stickman Challenge (3DS) – 8/8/8/8
My Hero Academia: Battle for All (3DS) – 8/8/8/7
Period Cube: Torikago no Amadeus (PSV) – 8/8/8/7
Kenka Banchou Otome (PSV) – 8/8/7/8
Tsunagare Numbers (3DS) – 6/8/6/6
Fantasy Pirates (3DS) – 6/6/6/6

Update: The theme is now available and trying to redeem points for it no longer produces an error.

A new reward is about to be added for users of My Nintendo in Europe: a Bravely Second Nintendo 3DS home menu theme titled “New Faces”. The theme costs 100 Platinum Points – quite a bit cheaper than the Mario and Donkey Kong 3DS home menu themes, which cost 200 Platinum Points.

However, it seems like the reward may have been added to the rewards catalogue prematurely – you can only reach it via the notifications tab in the top right; it doesn’t actually show up in the regular rewards tab at the moment. Trying to redeem your Platinum Points for the Bravely Second theme produces an error at the moment. The theme will apparently be available until June 30th, so it likely won’t be too long until it can be properly redeemed.
