3DS eShop

About a year ago, PlayEveryWare published Elliot Quest on Wii U eShop. The company then announced last July that the game, which was well-received by players and critics, would be ported to additional platforms, including 3DS.

We recently caught up with PlayEveryWare’s Thomas O’Connor for a status update on the portable version and to reflect on the experience of bringing the game to Wii U. O’Connor also spoke about a couple of other projects that have kept the company busy.

Mutant Mudds Super Challenge is finally coming to the eShop next week. On Wii U, the game takes up just 24MB of space. It’s also small on 3DS thanks to the download of just 109 blocks (13.6 MB).

On Thursday, Nnooo brought out its latest game on the 3DS eShop: Blast ‘Em Bunnies. Take a look at a few minutes of footage below.

Prices for the latest wave of Nintendo Selects have been updated on the eShop. Super Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, NES Remix Pack (as NES Remix 1 and 2), Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Yoshi’s New Island, and Mario Party: Island Tour are now down to $20 each ($30 in Canada).

If digital isn’t your sort of thing, you can find these Nintendo Selects – along with Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario All-Stars, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Animal Crossing: City Folk – at retailers. They’re all up on Amazon and Best Buy.

Nintendo Badge Arcade has received a new update in Europe. It’s version 1.3.1, which requires 627 blocks of free space.


Today’s update in the Nintendo Badge Arcade makes it easier to obtain free plays. First, the super bonus from the Practice Catcher now gives three free plays instead of two. A dummy badge also provides a free play if you manage to snag it.
