Keeping things a little less traditional today, Sakurai details an interesting cameo to come to the 3DS version of Smash:

The all-time classic Balloon Fight returns to the modern age, now playable with four players. This is only a small piece of this jam-packed game.

Atlus have announced that Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is getting navigator DLC for Elizabeth, Margaret and Theodore to replace Rise’s voice in combat. Each character’s voice will cost 600 yen and are available from today in Japan. One more round of DLC is scheduled for July 2nd and a teaser image has led people to believe that Persona 4 Golden’s Marie will be the focus. Atlus have released some images of the DLC voices in action (images of the voices..?), see what you think below.

The new versions of One Piece: Unlimited World Red came out in Japan last week. In case you missed the Media Create charts, here’s a look at how they performed:

One Piece Unlimited World: Red (PS3) – 18,026
One Piece Unlimited World: Red (PSV) – 10,348
One Piece Unlimited World: Red (Wii U) – 4,209

One Piece: Unlimited World Red originally arrived in Japan on 3DS last year and sold 84,000 units in its first week. This version actually saw a small boost according to Media Create, which could be at least partially attributed to the fact that it received the new content as free DLC the same week. In total, One Piece: Unlimited World Red’s sales on 3DS stand at 248,000 units.

Amiibo Link figure

Amiibo figures can now be pre-ordered on ShopTo. Each costs £12.85, though Nintendo hasn’t officially confirmed pricing. Mario, Link, and Samus are among the figures that can be pre-ordered thus far.

Natsume shared release windows for three of its upcoming Nintendo games over on Facebook. Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley will arrive first, with a fall launch planned. Alphadia Genesis and A-Train: City Simulator will follow in the winter of this year.

Game Critics has announced its nominees for the “Best of E3 2014” awards. Nintendo picked up a few mentions, including Splatoon and Super Smash Bros.
