Overflow is bringing a new visual novel title to 3DS. School Days and Shiny Days developers is now looking to launch “Island Days” on Nintendo’s portable in spring 2014. Karous Re: Beast of Eden developer Klon is working on the project.

A new sale has begun on the Square Enix Online Store. Various titles are available for up to 50% off through Sunday, January 5, 2014.

Nintendo recently updated the Japanese Kirby Triple Deluxe site with a little bit of new footage. You can find that above.

A new update is out now for the 3DS. It’s nothing too major, though the firmware has been brought forward to version 7.1.0-14. Today’s update, Nintendo says, provides “Further improvements to overall system stability” while also making small adjustments “to enhance the user experience”.

Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind sold 94,775 copies in its first week, based on data tracked by Dengeki.

Those strong sales resulted in a 75% sell-through rate (give or take). It also means Spike Chunsoft probably shipped around 130,000 copies of Attack on Titan.

Media Create’s latest data puts Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind at 42,311 copies sold in its second week. As such, it has probably sold through its entire first shipment.

For a title that didn’t have a lengthy development period and a somewhat meager budget, Spike Chunsoft should be pleased with Attack on Titan’s performance thus far.

Harvest Moon: Connect to a New Land has a neat little collaboration with the Mario series. In the game, players can grow Red Mushrooms, Fire Flowers, and Stars in their fields. However, “special conditions” will need to be met in order to make this happen.

Famitsu recently held a poll asking gamers about which system they’ll be purchasing this holiday. PS Vita came out on top, followed by the 3DS second, and Wii U third.

Store owners were also asked by Famitsu about what console they believe will sell the best during the holiday period. Thanks to the likes of Pokemon X/Y and Monster Hunter 4, 3DS was the most selected choice by a wide margin. The PS Vita and PS3 came in second and third respectively.
