Nintendo will be in attendance at PAX East this weekend, and the company will have a few games on display.

On Wii U, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and Star Fox Zero will be playable. There will also be play opportunities for Kirby: Planet Robobot, Monster Hunter Generations, and Metroid Prime: Federation Force on 3DS. Indie titles Axiom Verge and Tumblestone are showing up at the developers’ respective booths on the show floor as well.

In terms of activities, Kirby is going to be on hand for photo opportunities at Nintendo’s booth. The following Bravely Second panel is also scheduled:

In addition to all the fun playable games, Nintendo will host a Bravely Second: End Layer panel on Sunday, April 24, from 1 to 2 p.m. ET in the Dragonfly Theatre. The panel will feature developers from SQUARE ENIX discussing the creation of the just-released role-playing game. Behind-the-scenes info, such as concept art and gameplay, will be shown, concluding with an audience Q&A. On Saturday, April 23, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. ET, the SQUARE ENIX developers will also be at the Nintendo booth to meet fans and sign autographs.

Metroid Prime: Federation Force is seeing a delay. In North America, the game will now launch on August 19. The European release is slated for September 2, while Japan will be receiving it on August 25.


Metroid Prime: Federation Force was originally scheduled for late spring. The extra development time is being used to improve game balance.

A new Japanese trailer for the upcoming 3DS title Zero Time Dilemma has made its way online. The trailer highlights each of the characters trapped in the puzzles. Check it out below:

In Japan, Game Freak has filed for a couple of interesting trademarks. The Pokemon developer registered the names “Solgaleo” as well as “Lunaala”. Folks are now speculating that these two could be the mascot starters in Pokemon Sun/Moon.

A trademark for “Gigareki” was also registered separately, but it’s not entirely clear what the name is for at present.

While it’s unknown if any of these trademarks are actually tied into Pokemon Sun/Moon, the possibility is certainly there. We can look forward to receiving official information on the two games within the next few weeks.

Kirby: Planet Robobot and the Kirby series amiibo can now be pre-ordered from the Nintendo UK store. You can do so here.

For £39.99, you can nab a Kirby: Planet Robobot bundle of sorts. This includes a copy of the game, Kirby amiibo, sticker sheet, pin, notebook, and an amiibo display case.
