First you’re skeptical. Then you’re excited. Then you’re REALLY excited. Then you’re skeptical.

It’s a vicious cycle that constantly churns within you whenever something exciting is about to launch in the video game world. Be it a game or a console, you will find yourself one day nearly shaking with anticipation, and the next ferociously scouring the internet for reasons why it won’t be as bad as you’re worried it will be.

This is exactly where I am with ZombiU today.

It’s really not very often that simply hearing the premise of a game makes you tingle with excitement. ZombiU does that a little bit, Minecraft has that draw, and another such game came along when it was shown at E3 a few years ago. That game, predictably, was Scribblenauts. The concept of creating anything was legitimately awesome (as in, full of awe– not “super cool”), and 5th Cell went ahead and topped even that by throwing adjectives into the mix with the second game in the series, Super Scribblenauts. The sheer grandioseness of the series is almost daunting at times, and if you don’t relax and let your imagination take over you may find yourself stuck for ideas, which in turn may cause your opinion of the game to suffer!

So yea. Don’t do that.

It’s been a long, long six years for the Wii. The console has enjoyed its ups and downs, its ridicule and its praise, its successes and its failures; and as we here at NintendoEverything say one last, long goodbye to the console that brought all of us so much fun, we do our best to remember both the good times and the bad. Over the past couple of days we brought you top ten lists for everything from best games to biggest disappointments, most memorable channels to the greatest peripherals– but all of that? Those were YOUR guys’ opinions.

The site staff here at NintendoEverything may have a much different take on everything, so as the last piece to my three-piece suit of an article, I present to all of you the number one answers for each category from all five site contributors, so you can finally decide which member of the site is the coolest!

Begin the list with our favorite Wii visuals…

This week the podcast crew discusses all of the great news, reminisces about the Wii, and tests their knowledge of top ten lists by trying to guess which games/items topped all eight categories from our send-off to the Wii!

Update: Man I just feel so exhausted tonight! Because of that, I won’t be wrapping up part 3 of the Wii feature thing until tomorrow night. Which is probably for the better because then I can include Patrick! For now, just enjoy this podcast. :]

Turns out that when you do a podcast after writing and coding for seven hours some parts don’t stay quite as on-topic as they should! We still got through the news, but the discussion and list were a little lackluster this week! Next week we should be back to normal.

Tonight: NintendoEverything readers voted, and we bring you (in generic top ten list form!) the results for an Octorok-load of lists, including best third party Wii games, best peripherals, biggest disappointments, and more!

Last night’s entry into this three-part series was far and away the biggest feature I’ve ever put together, and I think things got a little confusing on the formatting side of things for you guys. This time I’ve figured out how to organize things with even MORE cleanliness, which is good because tonight’s addition is even bigger than last night’s! Featuring five more lists and fifty more entries, I decided to separate them into their own articles individually to help with organization. I do hope that’s alright!
