A new set of rewards are up for grabs in My Nintendo. Along with digital games, Nintendo has added in a wallpaper.

First up, in North America, you can use your points on the following titles for 3DS and Wii U:

Back in December, a rather strange listing was added to the Australian classification database. A title listed as “EclairCity” was rated, seemingly for a Nintendo platform. Nintendo of America is included as the game’s publisher. While it was rated in December, the listing is just now making the rounds today.

Here’s the thing: we’re not entirely convinced that this is a Nintendo title at present. Listings for some indie games such as ChromaGun, Black Hole, and The Next Penelope also carry the “Nintendo of America” publisher name and even “Production Company” even though Nintendo has nothing to do with these releases.

GDC was packed with panels today, including a session dedicated to Sonic the Hedgehog. Game designer Hirokazu Yasuhara and character designer Naoto Oshima presented a post-mortem of the classic title’s creation.

One of the most interesting pieces of information shared during the panel was that the backstory involved a fighter pilot with Sonic painted on the nose of his plane. Yasuhara and Oshima even presented a massive original design document with an extensive story in Japanese.
