Last week, WayForward’s Matt Bozon held a poll on Twitter asking fans to help choose the next Shantae figure. The results are in, and the winner is Rottytops. She just beat out Risky Boots as well as Sky and Bolo.
WayForward will be working with CharaGumin on the upcoming figure. The two sides released a Shantae figure earlier this year.
Wow! Rottytops beat Risky Boots by a sliver! Thank you all so much for participating!! Wow!! 🙂 Results will go to @volks_hobbydept !! pic.twitter.com/9H7TVMdCSm

Metroid amiibo 2-pack could be restocked soon
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
Nintendo created two new Metroid amiibo tying in with Metroid: Samus Returns – the Metroid itself and a Samus figure. Both were sold in a double pack.
At this point, you can’t really find the Metroid amiibo at retailers. But that could be changing soon. An updated Children’s Product Certificate from Nintendo shows that the 2-pack saw a new run of manufacturing in November. We’ll keep an eye out on any restocks in the future.

As you would expect, Nintendo isn’t ready to delve into any specific plans just yet. However, Breath of the Wild director Hidemaro Fujibayashi and series producer Eiji Aonuma did talk about their mindset going forward.

Capcom is finally starting to show its dedication to Mega Man. Next year’s Mega Man 11 certainly helps, and the company also intends to re-release all of the Mega Man X games across various platforms in 2018.
Mega Man 11 fills the role of resurrecting the series that started it all. However, there are other parts of Mega Man that have long been dormant, including Mega Man Legends and Mega Man Battle Network.

Nintendo’s Nine Months Earnings Release scheduled for January 31
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 7 Comments
Our next financial update from Nintendo won’t be too far from now. The company has updated its IR calendar, confirming that its Nine Months Earnings Release will take place on January 31.
What can we expect to hear? Well, don’t expect any major announcements, as that’s what Nintendo Directs tend to be for. But you’ll definitely see Nintendo talking about things like Switch sales, hardware sales in general, how its mobile games are doing, and other topics of that nature. These events sometimes have other interesting news and tidbits from time to time, but just keep in mind that it won’t be a conference or video presentation.
