Airborne Kingdom "The Lost Tundra" update

Airborne Kingdom players on Switch have access to new content today thanks to the just-released update known as “The Lost Tundra”.

The update is highlighted by a brand new biome. There are also new cosmetics, a new song from composer Paul Aubry, and more.

Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 update 1.1.0

Over four years after they originally came to Switch, Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 just received a new 1.1.0 update on Switch.

Both titles have additional language support. Korean, Chinese (Simplified), and Chinese (Traditional) text can be accessed after installing the update.

Rebel Transmute

Rebel Transmute, a Metroidvania game with a hand-painted pixel art aesthetic, will be seeing release on Switch following a successful Kickstarter campaign. Evan Tor Games reached its $17,000 funding goal to help make the project a reality. Additionally, in the final days of the campaign, a $24,000 Switch stretch goal was reached.

Rebel Transmute has you taking on the role of a space scrapper, Moon Mikono, who goes on a mission to uncover the true fate of her missing mother. Along the way, you can swap out augments to suit your playstyle and there are about 50 upgrades. On top of that, you can use spells known as Bloodcasts plus your Foray-issued Blaster.

Astroneer update 1.26.107.0

The latest update for Astroneer has gone out for Switch players, with System Era Softworks now offering version 1.26.107.0.

The return of the EXO F.A.R.M event is included here, along with a new vehicle, a new small piece of equipment, and some other curious new discoveries across the planets. Many bug fixes and quality of life improvements are available as well.

Pokemon GO Cosmoem

Niantic today announced a new Evolving Stars event for Pokemon GO, which marks the debut of Cosmoem. The event will be held between Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 10 AM to Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 8 PM local time.

Cyjin: The Cyborg Ninja

Publisher No Gravity Games and developer Aiya Games will soon be putting Cyjin: The Cyborg Ninja on Switch. The game is scheduled to launch on October 6, 2022, the two sides announced today.

Cyjin: The Cyborg Ninja, a precision platformer with “fast-paced gameplay and accelerated dashing action”, is set in a cyberpunk world. Read more about the title below.

Terraria Labor of Love update

A huge Terraria update known as “Labor of Love” – or version 1.4.4 – has just gone live on Switch.

A massive amount of content, changes, and additions are here. That’s along with adjustments across the entire game plus plenty of bug fixes.

Vlad Circus: Descend into Madness

The 2D pixel-art horror adventure Vlad Circus: Descend into Madness is heading to Switch, publisher Blowfish Studios and developer Indiesruption announced today. It will be available in Q1 2023.

Smurfs Kart release date Turbo Edition

Publisher Microids and developer Eden Games have set a final release date for Smurfs Kart. The Switch title, a racing experience, will launch on November 15, 2022.

Smurfs Kart will be sold both physically and digitally on Switch. At retail, a Turbo Edition will be offered. Copies include a copy of the game, two sticker boards, and a Papa Smurf patch.
