The latest update for MLB The Show 22 has gone live, with Switch owners now having access to version 1.0.13.
Today’s update is mainly about bug fixes, including issues involving freezing on Nintendo’s console. The game has also received a ton of new Minor League themed props.

Capcom has provided the official patch notes for the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak version 11.0.1, which was just announced for release tomorrow.
Players will be gaining access to a ton of content, including new monsters, quests, a new quest system, and more. That’s on top of the regular wave of bug fixes.

The first major update for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will release tomorrow, August 10, Capcom has revealed. It will include new content for the Kingdom’s heroic hunters, including the return of four fan-favorite monsters, plus an expansion to the Anomaly Quest system for increased challenges and rewards. Also, those who have reached Master Rank 10 will receive new Event Quests every week following the update.

Squad 51 vs. The Flying Saucers out on Switch this fall, new trailer

Squadron 51 has a new name, as it’s now known as Squad 51 vs. The Flying Saucers. Additionally, it has been given an updated Fall 2022 release window.
The project was first announced for Switch way back in 2018. There have been a few delays since then, as it has been most recently on track for last year. If all goes well, the game hopefully won’t be pushed back any further.
Pokemon: The Arceus Chronicles to debut on Netflix in September

Netflix will begin airing the animated special Pokemon: The Arceus Chronicles on September 23, 2022, The Pokemon Company announced today. This applies to most major regions excluding Asia.
Those attending the 2022 Pokemon World Championships in London can check out a premiere screening around 6 PM BST on August 19. It will be available on a first come first served basis. Everyone else can watch it the following month.

Bandai Namco has provided another look at Pac-Man World Re-Pac, this time sharing the title’s opening movie. Interestingly, while the original Pac-Man World also possessed an opening movie, this new version is not a remake of the original’s and consists almost entirely of new scenes.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns further delayed on Switch

Marvel’s Midnight Suns had originally been revealed back in August of last year with a March 2022 release window, but ended up getting delayed to the second half of 2022. It seems that the developers still need a bit more time, as they’ve announced that the game will receive an additional delay.
The game is now set to release sometime this fiscal year on next-gen platforms (meaning it should release before March 2023 for those), while the Switch and accompanying older-gen versions will release sometime afterwards. The delay is owed to the team wanting to deliver the “best possible experience for everyone” and the title being “easily the biggest game [they]’ve ever made”, likely causing a few complications in its development.
