Super Mario Party Jamboree has had a dominant run, but is now overthrown by Hello Kitty Island Adventure. The main game as well as its Deluxe Edition take the top two spots.

Ghostpia Nintendo Switch physical release set for Japan with English support, pre-orders open

Ghostpia Season One started out digital-only, but over in Japan, a physical release is planned. It will launch on March 13, 2025.
Ghostpia previously came out in English, and that will be supported in the new boxed version. Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese will also be included on the cartridge.

Pokemon Unite is back again with another update and players can download version 1.17.2.10.
For the most part, the update is all about the latest balance adjustments. The team made changes to Pokemon stats as well as moves.
Neon Inferno announced for Nintendo Switch, from the dev of Steel Assault

Retroware will be publishing Neon Inferno for Nintendo Switch, the studio confirmed today. A release is planned for Q3 2025.
Neon Inferno offers a mix of 2D run-and-gun and gallery-shooter gameplay. Zenovia Interactive, the studio behind Steel Assault, is handling development.

Progress Orders confirmed for English release in the west

January 26: Progress Orders, which was previously announced for Nintendo Switch in Japan, is now confirmed for English release in the west. This also appears to be a simultaneous worldwide launch. According to the eShop listing, the game launches overseas on April 9, 2025.
Progress Orders is a guild management RPG from Yoshifumi Hashimoto’s studio Hakama. Hashimoto is known for his past work on the Story of Seasons and Rune Factory titles.

Please Be Happy finally hitting Nintendo Switch this month

Sometimes You and Studio Elan are finally bringing Please Be Happy to Nintendo Switch, the two sides shared today. The title is due out on February 21, 2025.
Please Be Happy, a yuri visual novel, was first announced for Nintendo Switch way back in 2020. It was expected that year, but the launch never happened. We’ll now finally be seeing it in a couple of weeks.

Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake sales surpass two million worldwide [update: sales better than expected]

December 5: Square Enix just gave its first official sales update on Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, revealing that the game has sold over two million copies worldwide. That’s based on worldwide shipments and digital downloads across all platforms combined.
Square Enix didn’t provide any further specifics. However, based on the latest data from Famitsu, we know that about one million copies were sold in Japan at retail.

Splatoon 3 Chocolate Splatfest returns next month
