Mario Kart missing courses

The Mario Kart series is home to many, many different courses, and each new game in the series adds even more to that big number. A ton of old tracks were remade for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass, but a select few of them didn’t make the cut. Not just that, but some Mario Kart courses have never reappeared after their initial debut.

Today, we’re listing off all the Mario Kart tracks that never returned to future entries in the series. Do keep in mind that we won’t count Mario Kart Tour here – eventually, its service will end and the tracks in it will presumably become inaccessible. In case that happens, we’re sticking to courses that haven’t appeared in any main series games since their debut.

Ace Attorney interview future

Capcom has been doing quite a bit with Ace Attorney over the past few years, at least when it comes to bringing back the series’ various titles for current consoles. It also sounds like the company won’t be ending things with the recently-released Ace Attorney Investigations Collection.

In an interview with Capcom’s Kenichi Hashimoto, NetLab brought up how Ace Attorney merchandise was been pretty popular in Japan as of late. That eventually led to the following exchange (translated by Nintendo Everything):

The King is Watching

Today, publisher tinyBuild and developer Hypnohead unveiled The King is Watching. The game will be out for Nintendo’s console in Q4 2024 – stay tuned for an exact date.

The King is Watching is a roguelite kingdom builder. Players will look to defend their castle against waves of enemies.

Looney Tunes Wacky World of Sports trailer

To tie in with the release of Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports, GameMill prepared a launch trailer. Basketball, soccer, golf, and tennis are given quick looks in the video.

Wild Country release date

Lost Native nailed down a release date for its new game Wild Country. The title will be out for Switch on October 12, 2024, the studio announced this week.

Wild Country, a cozy-competitive card game with city-building elements, was only revealed for Switch a month ago. We knew it was coming soon, but when exactly was unclear until now.

As a reminder, here’s what to expect from the title:

Pokemon Unite update 1.16.1.4 Goal Hacker Holowear Sylveon Elegant Style

Pokemon Unite has received its latest update, and with version 1.16.1.4, the game has received a new Goal Hacker battle item, a new lucky ice pops event, Holowear Elegant Style: Sylveon, and more.

Outside of content, some items have been buffed while others have been nerfed. A number of bug fixes are also available.

Here’s the full rundown:

Red Candle Games just set a release date for Nine Sols. The game, a side-scrolling action platformer, heads to Switch on November 26, 2024.

Nine Sols was first revealed for Switch in 2022. It came to PC this year, but we’ve been waiting on the console versions – which are now too too far away.

Dagon Complete Edition

Feardemic, in partnership with Bit Golem, has announced Dagon: Complete Edition for Switch. The game is slated for October 10, 2024.

Dagon: Complete Edition is a first-person horror adventure game with a focus on narrative. Along with the base game, DLC will be included.

Rogue Flight

Today, Perp Games and Truant unveiled Rogue Flight. The game is coming later this year with a specific date to be announced later.

Rogue Flight is an arcade combat space game in which players will traverse the Sol system and join a flight force. The voice cast has some notable actors on board, including talent from Sailor Moon, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gundam, Naruto, and One Piece plus English voice talent featured in Overwatch and Fallout 76, League of Legends, and Marvel’s Avengers.

Reynatis trailer

NIS America released a launch trailer to celebrate the debut of Reynatis in the week. The video confirms upcoming updates and we also get to hear a few words from the creative producer.
