Our thoughts on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack

The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service has been a popular topic concerning Nintendo recently. The way in which the company handled the addition of new features to its online plan was received with a lot of feedback and a good amount of criticism. Initially the biggest problem was pricing, but now after this week’s launch that happened on October 25, some fans are complaining about a number of elements pertaining to the quality of the service, including emulation and online stability.
For today’s video, I decided to record a video not alone, but with my colleague and reviewer here on Nintendo Everything, Dennis. We discussed some interesting points from this whole situation in our lengthy video – I hope that you guys enjoy it. Check out the full talk below.

Fatal Frame dev reveals other objects that were considered before settling on the camera

When you think of Fatal Frame, one of the first things that comes to mind is the Camera Obscura. However, when the series originally began, the development team actually considered a few other objects instead.
Nintendo Everything recently spoke with Keisuke Kikuchi, the producer of the Fatal Frame. There was some talk about the new release of Maiden of Black Water on Switch, but also discussion about the franchise and general. And when asked if there were other objects that were initially thought about before settling on the camera, he said:

Switch sales surpass two million units sold in Spain

Switch has managed to reach a new milestone in Spain. Sales of the console in the country have surpassed two million units, data from consulting firm Gfk reveals. Additionally, Switch was Spain’s best-selling console in 2021. The system achieved the same feat in 2019 and 2020 as well.
Gfk also confirms that six of the ten best-selling games in Spain this year were Switch titles. Those releases include Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Minecraft, Ring Fit Adventure, and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. You’ll notice that this is a mix of both newer and older titles.

Shin Megami Tensei V daily demon vol. 185 – Mithras

Another demon trailer is in for Shin Megami Tensei V, which puts the spotlight on Mithras. This creature hasn’t had too many appearances in the series, though it has shown up in titles like Shin Megami Tensei IV and Persona Q2.

Fallen Legion Revenants gains BlazBlue DLC

Fallen Legion Revenants is seeing a crossover with BlazBlue as part of a new DLC bundle. As of now, players can get their hands on cosmetics that are based on powerful fighters including Ragna the Bloodedge, Jin Kisaragi, and more.

Super Sami Roll reaching Switch next week

Back in August, publisher X Plus and developer Sonzai Games announced that the 3D platformer Super Sami Roll would be heading to Switch. The title is now just a few days away. According to an eShop listing, you’ll be able to pick it up next week.
Super Sami Roll does have a story, and it begins with the wicked Albert VII kidnapping Sami’s friend Vera. To save her, players will need to explore the game’s colorful 3D world and uncover secrets by rolling, grappling, and jumping. Various locations are included such as green fields, deserts pyramids, oozing volcanoes, frigid ice lands, and more.
