March 24: Mega Evolutions are back in Pokemon Legends: Z-A after a hiatus, and based on a new rumor, it seems that Game Freak is adding a bunch of introducing a bunch of new ones.
According to Pyoro – yes, that Pyoro who used to leak a ton of Nintendo Direct news – the game will feature 27 new Mega Evolutions. Technically, that number was not given directly. Fans noticed that Pyoro told one person on social media to look at the upper left corner of their keyboard, which is ASCII Code 27.

Eirika: Of the Sacred joining Fire Emblem Heroes as Emblem Hero

Eirika: Of the Sacred has been revealed as the next Emblem Hero for Fire Emblem Heroes. Additionally, previously released 5-star Legendary, Mythic, and Emblem Heroes will be available.
Eirika originally appeared in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. She’s also one of the featured characters in Fire Emblem Engage.

Ultimate Games is porting CarGo to Nintendo Switch, the company has announced. It will be available “in the coming months.”
CarGo is a frantic simulation game in which players attempt to deliver as many goods as possible while keeping an eye out for time, traffic, and roadworks. As a game that features full co-op, it’s inspired by the likes of Overcooked, Moving Out, and more.

Platformer shooter Baseless on the way to Nintendo Switch

First Break Labs, in partnership with Fermenter Games, confirmed that Baseless is planned for release on Nintendo Switch. The game is planned to debut later in 2025.
Baseless is a 2D platform shooter with a single-player story campaign and gravity physics. A key mechanic is that movement is done by shooting, so you’ll thrust yourself through space and between different planets this way.

Naman Budhwar, head of video marketing at Balatro publisher PlayStack, has revealed how you actually pronounce the name of the game.
Balatro has been a hit on Nintendo Switch and elsewhere, but one of the biggest questions has surrounded the proper pronunciation. Now we have an answer, courtesy of Game File. According to Bughwar, who relayed things from creator LocalThunk, you’re supposed to say it as follows: “BAH-luh-trow”.

Nintendo Direct announced for March 27

It’s just been announced that a new Nintendo Direct presentation will air tomorrow, March 27. The broadcast begins at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe.
Nintendo says that the event will be about 30 minutes long. As expected, the Direct will cover Switch 1 games. There will be no news for Nintendo Switch 2 here.
