Goblinz Publishing and developer Goblinz Studio today announced Sandwalkers, a roguelike turn-based exploration game. It’s in development for Switch, though there’s no word on a release window currently.

Overwatch McCree name change

Blizzard will change the name of Overwatch character McCree, the company has announced.

The move is being made in the wake of a lawsuit against Activision Blizzard. Many employee reports have surfaced in recent weeks regarding sexual harassment and gender discrimination.

McCree was named after Jesse McCree, a staffer that spent many years at Blizzard and contributed to several of its games. While he departed the company earlier this month, he has ties to the ongoing lawsuit against Activision Blizzard.

Blasphemous Wounds of Eventide

Blasphemous still has a bit of life in it as the game is set to receive another update titled Wounds of Eventide, Team17 and The Game Kitchen have announced. It will unlock the game’s true ending. While we don’t have a concrete date yet for its release, expect to see it on December 9. It will be available entirely for free.

That’s not all for Blasphemous, as a sequel has been confirmed as well. Blasphemous II will launch in 2023. If you’re curious about the series’ future, you’ll probably want to play through the new Wounds of Eventide update.

Pokemon TV app Switch

Without any prior notice, a Pokemon TV app has just released on Switch. It can be downloaded digitally through the eShop.

According to the product description, a bunch of different video content can be accessed here. There are “hundreds of episodes” to watch from anime, full seasons included. That’s on top of animated specials as well as Pokemon Trading Card Game and video game competitions. There will be new content to watch on a regular basis.

SEGA has just gone live with the second part of the Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps two-episode cartoon. The web series was made to tie in with the upcoming launch of Sonic Colors: Ultimate. Following up on the previous Japanese version, Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 shared an English features trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot + A New Power Awakens today. It offers a preview of the gameplay players can experience as they play through Goku’s life story.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot + A New Power Awakens Set features exclusive bonus content from A New Power Awakens Part and 2 where players earn a brand-new power through training and fight Beerus and Golden Frieza. It’s also now possible to select the difficulty level and take part in quests where other Dragon Ball Z characters will become playable. Two new sub-stories are included, and after completing them, Gotenks and Vegito will become playable characters.
