Necro Story

Necro Story is on the way to Switch, Belgian developer Rablo Games has announced. The title is slated to arrive sometime this September.

Necro Story is a whimsical RPG in which players take on the role of a Necromancer. The game involves casting spells, raising armies of skeletons, signing Dark Pacts, and using dead enemies’ souls to take control of them.

Nintendo has updated the Japanese release schedule on its platforms for the week of June 6, 2024. Here’s a look at the upcoming digital download schedule:


DevilishGames passed along the news that it’s collaborating with Famosa on Insectum: Epic Battles of Bugs. Look for the game on Switch in Q3 2024.

Insectum: Epic Battles of Bugs is a real-time strategy game in which players use cards to defend their nests and conquer opponents. Further information is included in the following overview:

Dordogne physical

Dordogne is getting the physical treatment on Switch, Pix’n Love has revealed. It will be available this September.

The game will be sold standalone as well as with a numbered Deluxe Edition. The latter is presented in a large format cardboard box, featuring four lithographs, stickers, the official soundtrack in the form of a double vinyl autographed by the band Supernaive as well as a 224-page making-of artbook including design sketches and unpublished interviews with the developers.

Infinity Knights: Xross

Today, Timesea Studio announced its new RPG Infinity Knights: Xross for Switch. The developer intends to launch it in late 2025.

Infinity Knights: Xross is unique in that it features 3-player couch co-op. The title, which is about a king and his Infinity Knights manipulating the rules of life and death, is inspired by classic ’90s Japanese RPGs and will feature pixel art, innovative gameplay systems, an engaging story, and a musical score by composer Hiroki Kikuta (Secret of Mana, Indivisible). 

Kamaeru A Frog Refuge release date

Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge just received a release date, and the game is very close. Armor Games Studios and Humble Reeds just confirmed its availability for June 8, 2024.

We only just found out that Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge would be coming to Switch at the start of April. Originally it had a general 2024 launch window.

LEGO Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 Set

Following previous rumors, LEGO and Nintendo just revealed a LEGO Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 Set. It will be available on September 1, 2024 for $300.

This marks the very first Zelda product from LEGO. Fans can not only build the Great Deku Tree as it appeared in Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but Breath of the Wild as well. The 2,500-piece set also “comprises iconic sceneries from the video games including the Master Sword pedestal from Breath of the Wild, as well as Link’s House from Ocarina of Time, allowing enthusiasts freedom to customize their display.”

Conscript

Today, publisher Team17 and developer Catchweight Studio announced the upcoming title Conscript for Switch. It does not have a release window at this time.

Conscript, which takes place during the Great War, is a new take on classic survival horror. Players will take on the role of a French soldier looking for his brother during the Battle of Verdun. 

Already released on PC, Ylands is now getting a newly-announced Nintendo Switch Edition. We have a confirmed release date of June 20, 2024.

Ylands: Nintendo Switch Edition is an a creative open-world adventure game with exploration, sailing, crafting, building, and light survival elements. This new version of the title will be available fully available as a single-player offline game, which offers the popular Adventure and Creative modes. Another significant change is that there’s now only one-time premium payment, in place of the original free-to-play model.

My Time at Sandrock Monster Whisperer DLC

My Time at Sandrock is back with new DLC titled Monster Whisperer, and there’s also a free update for everyone.

The DLC provides a new “Monsters” category of companion with Jack Box, Rockyenaroll, Desert Viper, Bumble Ant and more. Plus players can receive the trapping tool to capture stronger and rarer pets.

As for the update, that comes with its own free content. This includes a new pet-training and combat feature, Sand Buggy Circuit, cooking function in the Factory, and new levels in the Dead Sea Ruins.
