Super Mario Maker online services shutting down, title to be removed from Wii U eShop

Nintendo has announced that several online services for the Wii U title Super Mario Maker will soon be discontinued, and the title will no longer be available for purchase on the Wii U eShop. The full statement is as follows:

Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol. 5.5 arriving in January, Vol. 1-5 physical collection coming this summer in Japan

Arriving in January, Vol. 5.5 of the Grisaia visual novel series will be hitting the Japanese eShop, as was revealed in the latest issue of Famitsu. Additionally, it looks like the first five volumes of the series will be available in a physical collection due to be out this summer, so fans can get the majority of the series in one fell swoop. Notably, the Grisaia series has been available with English support.

- Resplendent Hero Lucina: Future Witness is now available to Feh Pass subscribers. In addition, Feh Pass Quests have been updated. These quests are available until Dec. 9, 10:59 PM PT. For further info, please see the Feh Pass website.
- The next Resplendent Hero, Niles: Cruel to Be Kind, is scheduled to become available Dec. 9, 11 PM PT.

Smash Bros. Ultimate to host tournament featuring characters with headgear

Nintendo has announced the next event for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Later this week, the game will be hosting a tournament featuring characters with headgear. Players can only use fighters who have hats and helmets.
The new event goes live on November 27. It’ll last for a total of three days.

Super Mario Bros. 35 – new Special Battle event announced for November 27

Nintendo is gearing up for the next weekly Special Battle event in Super Mario Bros. 35. This time around, it’s the second Coin King Clash with players aiming to collect as many coins as possible. There are a fixed set of courses: 5-1, 4-2, 1-2, 1-1, 3-1, 4-4, and 6-2.
The new Special Battle goes live on November 27. It will last until November 30.
