Biomutant Switch release date set for May, first trailer

February 29: Today, THQ Nordic finally shared the release date for Biomutant on Switch. Players on Nintendo’s console can experience the open-world RPG on May 14, 2024.
Biomutant was first confirmed for Switch in May 2023. There was some talk that it would be out sometime last year, but that didn’t turn out to be the case.

Shadow of the Ninja: Reborn release date set for August, new trailer

Shadow of the Ninja: Reborn has a new, final release date. SEGA – the company handling the game in Japan and Asia – revealed that the title is due out on August 29, 2024.
Shadow of the Ninja: Reborn was previously planned for the spring. However, it ended up being delayed to the summer.
Reynatis confirmed for English release in the west

February 26: Reynatis, which was just announced for Switch during last week’s Japanese Nintendo Direct, has now been confirmed for English release in the west. The title launches in Fall 2024.
As a reminder, Reynatis is a juvenile action RPG. FuRyu is publishing in Japan while Natsume Atari is handling development.

Rumor: More Switch 2 tidbits surface

Spanish outlet Vandal published the latest report on Switch 2 today and claims to have a few more details about the device. The site’s information was apparently shared by accessory manufacturers.
Valdal first claims that the controllers will be attached magnetically. That’s in contrast to the current Switch which uses a rail system. As of now, it’s unclear if Joy-Con controllers will be compatible with the new system.

This time around, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe climbs to the very top after it was previously #3. Right behind it is Hogwarts Legacy. Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Princess Peach: Showtime are also in the top five.

Publisher PROTOYPE and developer Key have announced that they will be bringing a collection of planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet & Snow Globe to Switch digitally via the eShop on June 27. planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet is already available digitally on Switch, however this will mark the debut of Snow Globe on the system.

March 8: The new Hunter x Hunter game, titled Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact, has now been confirmed for Switch. A release window hasn’t been provided.
Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact is a 2D fighter, but beyond that, not much is known. A teaser was shared to start the year which we have below.
