Overlord: Escape from Nazarick physical

November 29: Today, SelectPlay announced that it’s producing a physical version of Overlord: Escape from Nazarick – specifically in Europe. It will be available in early 2024.

Overlord: Escape from Nazarick already had a physical release, but only in Japan. Switch makes it very easy to play games across regions, but now fans in the west will have another option.

Apollo Justice Ace Attorney Trilogy launch trailer

Capcom prepared a launch trailer for Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy. Apollo Justice, Dual Destiny, and Spirit of Justice now move from 3DS to Switch.

Illang release date

Challengers Games is putting its new title Illang on Switch next month, the studio announced today. Fans will be able to pick it up on February 8, 2023.

Illang is a free-to-play multiplayer social deduction game which was confirmed for Switch late last year. Find more information about it in the following overview:

Palworld Pokemon Company statement

The Pokemon Company just put out a statement about Palworld, which has exploded in popularity this month following its launch.

The game has gained a great deal of popularity, but not always for the right reasons. Some have taken issue with just how similar some creatures in that title are to Pokemon. Some have gone as far as to label it “Pokemon with guns”. Developer Pocketpair has indicated that it isn’t concerned about copyright infringement, but now The Pokemon Company has weighed in.

F-Zero 99 update 1.2.0

Support continues for F-Zero 99 and Nintendo just dropped a brand new version 1.2.0 update for the game.

A big addition this time around is support for private lobbies. Players can choose a game mode and set a passcode to create one. Players that enter the same settings will be added to the same lobby. However, less EXP and fewer tickets will be given out and challenge progress, records, and leaderboard points will not be saved.

The update also includes Secret Tracks, maximum level and maximum skill rating increase, and one badge that can be used to customize Pilot Cards.

Banchou Tactics

Flyhigh Works, Secret Character, and ITSARAAMATA today announced a Switch version of Banchou Tactics. A release is planned for February 15, 2024.

Banchou Tactics is a turn-based strategy RPG that takes inspiration from River City Ransom and Final Fantasy Tactics as well as the manga Crows. We’ve got more information about it in the following overview:
