Redeemer: Enhanced Edition bumped back to July 12

Redeemer: Enhanced Edition is experiencing a delay, but not a very long one. The top-down-action brawler has been moved from June 25 to July 12. The game will be available both physically and digitally.

Granzella has opened its Kickstarter for the recently-announced R-Type Final 2. The company is looking to raise roughly $415,000 to make its project a reality.

The Pokemon Company sees 50% increase in net profit to $124 million

The Japanese government’s Official Gazette has provided information on The Pokemon Company’s latest financial results.
For the year ending February 28, net profit rose to $124 million. That provided a 50% increase year-over-year and is the second highest net profit ever for the company. In 2018, net profit came in at roughly $81 million.
This year’s results account for both Pokemon GO and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee. Next year should include Pokemon Sword/Shield and licensing contributions from Pokemon Detective Pikachu.

Pokemon GO dropping support for Apple Watch on July 1st

Niantic announced today that, starting on July 1st, Pokemon GO will no longer be compatible with Apple Watch devices. The reason, as listed by Niantic, is that the recently added Adventure Sync feature already allows users to track steps, earn candy and hatch eggs via fitness apps on their phone, so they’ll be focusing on building on that feature, instead of spreading it out over two separate devices.
