SEGA has released the first video in a series of new Team Sonic Racing spotlight gameplay videos that showcases some of the elements included in the racer. Sonic and other characters can use unique team-based moves to race past rival teams.

Ubisoft’s Gamescom 2018 lineup

Ubisoft announced its lineup for Gamescom 2018 today. Starlink: Battle for Atlas, Trials Rising, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Skull & Bones, The Division 2, and Anno 1800 will all be playable.
Other games like Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and Just Dance 2019 will be represented as well. Ubisoft is planning presentations for these two titles, with Mario + Rabbids’ Donkey Kong expansion receiving the spotlight.
Gamescom 2018 runs between August 21 and August 25.

Mega Man 11 amiibo Edition back up on GameStop

GameStop has restocked the previously-sold out Mega Man 11 amiibo Edition. You can reserve a copy here.
Aside from a copy of Mega Man 11, the package includes the new amiibo, Dr. Wily logo adhesive patch, sticker set, and “Stage Select” microfiber cloth.
Note that the Mega Man 11 amiibo Edition is exclusive to GameStop in the US. No other retailer will be selling the product.

Soundfall announced for Switch

Soundfall, the debut title from Drastic Games, has been announced for Switch.
A music-driven action adventure game, Soundfall was developed by alumni from Epic Games. It features a mashup of twin-stick shooting and rhythm-based gameplay.

Nintendo has set a release date for The World Ends with You: Final Remix in the west. North America and Europe are both getting the game on October 12.
Previously, Square Enix announced a release date of September 27 for Japan.

Update: The Valkyria Chronicles 4 demo and pre-load are now live on the eShop.
Original: SEGA has passed along some notable news about Valkyria Chronicles 4. Along with a demo, digital pre-orders will be live later today. SEGA actually says that both are live now, but we’re not seeing anything just yet – that should change when the eShop updates in a couple of hours.

Original (8/6): The Art of Bravely Default will finally be receiving a release in the west. That’s according to Amazon, which lists a February 2019 release for the book.
