Update (10/28): Ripstone has made the November 2 release date official for both North America and Europe. Pricing is $12.49 / €12.49 / £9.99.


Original (10/27): Chess Ultra doesn’t seem to be too far away from hitting Switch. A listing on the European Switch eShop has the game down for November 2.

The Switch version of Chess Ultra will have a “local multiplayer cross-table playing mode, whereby the console acts as the chess board.” Cross-play with Xbox One and PC is also supported.

Chess Ultra will cost €12.49 on Switch. It’ll take up 2.1GB of space.

A new update for Lichtspeer: Double Speer Edition has gone live. Players who purchased and download the game can access version 1.0.2.

Crunching Koalas says that the update improves Joy-Con management and makes small co-op difficulty tweaks. Additionally, a few minor fixes have been implemented.

The next Mario Party game is almost here. On November 10, Mario Party: The Top 100 will be launching for 3DS in North America.

You can prepare for the digital version of Mario Party: The Top 100 by pre-loading. On the North American eShop, you can pay in advance and download most of the necessary data. Then on release day, you’ll just need a small update to begin playing.

Mario Party: The Top 100 takes up 2,089 blocks of space. That amounts to 261.125MB.

Nintendo is closing down Miiverse next month. But before it ended, a special “Everybody’s Message” community opened where users could share some of their last drawings.

Nintendo collected some of the images that Miiverse visitors created and made a special collage out of it all. The official announcement about the collage, as well as a link to the full-sized version, can be found below.

One of the latest pieces of DLC for Minecraft on Switch and Wii U is a new Skin Pack featuring the Netflix show Stranger Things. We have a trailer and some footage for it below.

Bread Machine Games has revealed that Deathstate is in the works for Switch. This week, the image above was posted on the game’s Twitter account. A release date shouldn’t be too far away.

Deathstate is described as “a roguelike, bullet hell, single stick shooter set in a bizarre world of dimensional exploration”. We’ve got plenty of additional details below, along with a trailer.

Europe’s fourth Splatfest for Splatoon 2 has been announced. Players are being asked if they prefer eating warm or cold breakfasts.

The Splatfest kicks off at 4 PM in Europe / 3 PM in the UK. It’ll be held for a full day, with the results coming shortly after.
