Target is running a new sale on Wii U games. Nearly 20 titles are included in a buy 1 get 1 free promotion.

Zen Studios has come out with a new patch for Infinite Minigolf on Switch. The latest version is 1.0.2.

New animals added to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Host the Most Initiative

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp updated today with new content. First, four new animals have been added: Sprinkle, Static, Ava, and Boots. Their unlockable items are the snow machine, robot hero, large egg, and potbelly stove respectively.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is also running a Host the Most Initiative. Until January 13, your friendships will grow more quickly than usual when completing requests.

Breath of the Wild director on rethinking Zelda’s conventions, having all staff playtest at the same time

When Breath of the Wild was teased many years ago, one of the aspects Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma highlighted was the desire to upend the series’ conventions. That’s something Nintendo managed to do in the end, resulting in a very different type of Zelda game.
In an interview with GamesRadar, director Hidemaro Fujibayashi spoke about Breath of the Wild’s development and re-thinking Zelda’s conventions, of which he stated:

Zelda: Breath of the Wild producer Hidemaro Fujibayashi has actually been working on the franchise for quite awhile. He directed a few different entries, including Oracle of Ages/Seasons, Skyward Sword, and more.
Although Fujibayashi has greatly contributed to Zelda, he’s not quite sure what his lasting mark on the series will be. In his view, he’s still figuring that out.

Turbo Pug DX is heading to Switch, creator Daniel Steer has announced. Steer posted the news on Twitter earlier today with the following message:

Turbo Pug DX is a runner with “passionately crafted environments”, multiple paths, various characters, mini-games, and more. It also sounds like the Switch version will have some exclusive content.
