Hero Concept is working on Mayhem Brawler II: Best of Both Worlds, the studio announced today. The game is currently on track to launch for Switch in 2024.
Mayhem Brawler II: Best of Both Worlds is a side-scrolling beat ’em up game with modern rogue-lite / RPG elements. This follows the previous entry that made it to Switch in 2021.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy sales surpass ten million

Activision and Toys for Bob have shared a rare sales milestone update for Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Since launch, the collection has sold over ten million copies. That applies to combined sales across all platforms.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy features Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. While it saw its initial release in November 2018, Switch would get it later – specifically in September 2019.
Gunbrella out on Switch this month, new trailer

Devolver Digital and Doinksoft today shared the final release date for Gunbrella. The game, a noir-punk action-adventure title, is slated for September 13, 2023.
Gunbrella was first announced in May 2022. Devolver Digital and Doinksoft initially committed to a general 2023 launch window at the time.

Nintendo shared new data today revealing the top 20 best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for August 2023.
Pikmin 4, a major release from last month, debuts at #1. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom hands in at #5. You might also be surprised to see Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, which was likely boosted from a sale.

Crymachina release date set for October in the west, story trailer

Original (6/22): NIS America and FuRyu today revealed the final release date for Crymachina in the west. The localized English version will launch on October 27, 2023 in North America and Europe.
Crymachina was previously announced back in February. NIS America quickly confirmed localization plans with a fall release window. Japan will be getting the action RPG on July 27.

Mario Kart Tour announces Sundae Tour with Sky-High Sundae

Konami’s TGS 2023 lineup

Konami today unveiled its full lineup for the 2023 Tokyo Game Show.
The company will have various games on display, including Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 – which will be playable. Other titles like Super Bomberman R 2 will also be here.
A number of partner titles will also be at the Konami booth, including Ys X from Falcom.
