Spring 2018 release window for Project Octopath Traveler listed in Nintendo UK news post
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 16 Comments
Project Octopath Traveler reemerged during last week’s Nintendo Direct following its initial announcement in January. Amazingly, a demo of the game even hit the eShop.
Nintendo UK highlighted the demo’s availability in a news post on its official website today. Towards the end, Nintendo says that Project Octopath Traveler is launching in Spring 2018.
Could this be an error? Absolutely. We’ll just have to wait and see. We’ve only heard on the record that Project Octopath Traveler is planned for 2018, but if Nintendo UK is correct, it’ll be releasing closer to the start of 2018 rather than towards the end of the year.

The situation surrounding the Super NES Classic Edition last month pointed to the hardware not being sold in Quebec. It all came down to French language restrictions in the region. However, we’re now hearing that the Super NES Classic Edition will be sold in Quebec after all.
First, check out these two tweets from Toys “R” Us Canada:
Great news: #SNESClassic will be available in Quebec – thanks! #Nintendo
— ToysRUs Canada (@toysruscanada) September 18, 2017
Should be lifted restrictions, a press release went out from Nintendo! (would be great if it was an exclusive though, lol) 🙂
— ToysRUs Canada (@toysruscanada) September 18, 2017
And EB Games Canada:
Nintendo has confirmed the SNES Classic can be sold in the province of Quebec. Stay tuned for further information. Thanks!

This is definitely good news. Whatever issues there were, it sounds like Nintendo cleared everything up.
Thanks to Lucas P for the tip.

NBA 2K18 corrupting save files, patch planned
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 28 Comments
NBA 2K18’s launch hasn’t been entirely smooth. One big issue players have encountered pertains to corrupted and lost save data. It’s definitely an issue on Switch, but all versions of NBA 2K18 are affected.
On the bright side, we should be seeing a patch to address the situation soon. It’s not entirely clear when that will happen, but we’ll watch over the situation.
