Bomb Rush Cyberfunk release date

Original (4/19): Today’s Indie World Showcase provided a final release date for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. We now know that the game will be ready to go on August 18, 2023.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk was originally targeting a 2022 debut. However, Team Reptile ended up moving the title to Summer 2023 to guarantee “a fulfilling and unique game”.

Venba launch trailer

Elypse release date

Several months after it was originally announced for Switch, Elypse now has a release date. The game will be ready to go on August 2, 2023.

Elypse was first made known for Switch at the very end of 2022. It’s a 2D platformer with adventure, exploration, platforming and action elements.

Psychic 5: Eternal gameplay

Psychic 5: Eternal recently came to Switch, and gameplay has come in. As a reminder, this is a remake of the 1987 title.

Switch successor details rumor

VGC claims to have insight into the Switch’s successor with development kits now in the hands of key partner studios.

According to the site, Nintendo “is likely to release new hardware during the second half of 2024”. Doing so would allow the company to bulk up on shipments and ensure that ample stock is available.

Magical Drop VI update

A new update has just been released for Magical Drop VI on Switch.

A few new additions, changes, and fixes are included. Notable elements include Options in the Pause menu and the ability to customize button layouts, changes in Fool’s attack pattern, and more.

JellyCar Worlds update classic level mode

Walaber has announced the introduction of JellyCar Worlds‘ new classic level mode as part of a new update.

Switch players can now access the classic level selector. It includes every level from the 2008 App Store success story, JellyCar.

Super Mario RPG

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. Super Mario RPG has taken over as the new top Switch game following Pikmin 4’s launch, and Detective Pikachu Returns appears for the first time.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 Tail Concerto

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 players can now get their hands on DLC based on Tail Concerto.

The Tail Concerto collaborative costume pack “takes inspiration from the same world as Little Tail Bronx, outfitting the 12 children in police officer​ and sky pirate attire.” Specifically, costumes are available for Malt, Mei, Kyle, Boron, Socks, Chick, Hack, Sheena, Jin, Wappa, Britz, and Vanilla. All of them can be used during intermission and expedition.

A number of new deals are up and running on the North American Switch eShop. These include the lowest prices ever for SteamWorld Heist, World’s End Club, and more.
