Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom director used Breath of the Wild to demonstrate Link’s new abilities during early development

Nintendo has shared some interesting insight into the early development behind The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, specifically how some of Link’s new abilities were initially designed using Breath of the Wild.
Hidemaro Fujibayashi, the game’s director, came up with the idea of attaching objects. To show this to the team, he “tried creating vehicles using only the mechanisms and parts available in the previous game and presented them.”
Fujibayashi and Eiji Aonuma said in a recent interview:

The next update for Pokemon Unite has been made available, with the game moving up to version 1.9.2.8.
With this patch, Pokemon Unite is gearing up for its Eevee Festival. A bunch of different Pokemon adjustments have been implemented as well.

Humble Games Showcase announced for May 18

A new Humble Games Showcase will be held on May 18, 2023, it’s been announced. The event will air at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM in the UK / 7 PM in Europe.
Specifics regarding the event have not been shared. That being said, it’s expected that some Switch games will be featured given Humble’s support of the platform.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is almost here, and players should be aware that a day one version 1.1.0 update is available. If you pre-loaded the game digitally, you’ve likely seen it downloaded automatically.
According to Nintendo, there’s a tiny languages addition to horse names. Various fixes have been improved as well.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is finally here (well, in a couple more days), and the first reviews are now starting to find their way online.
This title will not only be one of the biggest releases of the year, but also one of the biggest games on Switch in general. It comes a little over six years after the series’ last title, Breath of the Wild, and roughly four years following its original announcement at E3 2019. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom looks to retain what made the original game special while adding new features and content including sky islands, new abilities for Link, and more.

Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios will supposedly release the next Mortal Kombat game on Switch titled Mortal Kombat 1. That’s according to dataminer billbil_kun, who has a track record of leaking
The game will apparently cost $60 on Switch while it’ll be $10 extra on other consoles. Warner Bros. intends to release a couple of special editions, but it seems they won’t be on Switch.
