A few 1001 Spikes co-op details
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Polygon has secured a few new details about co-op play in 1001 Spikes.
Up to four people can join in on the fun. A total of 1,000 lives are available in a collective pool, though that number can be increased by obtaining relics in some stages. Nabbing one of these will increase the lives total by 50.
Polygon also confirms that friendly fire is enabled.
As far as the gameplay itself goes, you’ll be in search of a key which must be obtained in order to exit levels.

iOS title Oceanhorn appears to take quite a few cues from Zelda
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 3 Comments
The iOS title Oceanhorn is almost set for release. However, quite a bit of the gameplay seems reminiscent of Zelda. The game comes with dungeons, “skulltula”-style collectibles, chests with items, grass to cut, pots to throw, and more.
Despite the similarities between the two, perhaps Oceanhorn won’t turn out so bad. At the very least, it has some top-notch talent on board in the music department – Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu and Mana/Saga composer Kenji Ito.
