Several new games out came out this week on the eShop. If you’re interested in checking out what’s new in screenshot form, take a look at the gallery below.

Original: SEGA announced the Japanese release date of Shining Resonance Refrain today – July 12th, which is actually two days after the game’s worldwide release. The press release SEGA announced this with also contained the first three screenshots of the Switch version of the game. This is significant since up until now, all the footage we’ve soon from the game has been from versions on other platforms.

Square Enix published the latest round of details for Dragon Quest Builders 2 today. We get to learn more about the story, Vacant Island, and how the game has evolved compared to the original. We’ve rounded everything up below, courtesy of Gematsu.

Octopath Traveler - H'aanit and Therion

Square Enix released another batch of details and screenshots for Octopath Traveler today. Aside from the latest characters H’aanit and Therion, we have coverage pertaining to a couple of regions.

H’aanit is 26 years old. She lived as the best “Hunter” in a certain village in the Woodland region, and her teacher left the village a year ago to hunt a monster known as the “Red Eye”.

If you missed one of our recent file size roundups, you may not have heard about an interesting approach Bandai Namco is taking with Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy on Switch. You’ll be able to purchase the collection itself, but also the individual games.

This could be handy if you played through one of the Naruto titles on other platforms previously and are only interested in certain ones. That means, for example, you’ll be able to purchase Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 on its own. With listings on the European eShop, we can confirm Bandai Namco will be making the trilogy and standalone titles available in Japan and in the west.

Nippon Ichi published the first screenshots from Disgaea Refine, its HD remake of the first entry in the series. We have the images below.

In the latest issue of Famitsu, Class of Heroes Anniversary Edition was announced for Switch. Acquire has since made the news official and has shared first screenshots, which we have below.

Two new modes are included in Class of Heroes Anniversary Edition. In “Art Appreciation Mode”, you can view past promotional materials, greeting cards, and more. “Music Appreciation Mode” allows you to listen to prior music in the series.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole Nintendo Switch

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is just a week away from its launch on Switch. The game finally has a listing added to the eShop, showing the file size. It’ll take up 14.1GB of space.

The file size for South Park on Switch is slightly lower compared to other platforms. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were about 18GB each.
