We’ve seen footage of Doom running on Switch, but only with off-screen videos. Fortunately, some screenshots have appeared giving us a clear look in direct-feed. Take a look at the images below.

Attack on Titan 2 details, screenshots

At the Tokyo Game Show, Koei Tecmo confirmed that Attack on Titan 2 (not to be confused with Spike Chunsoft’s Attack on Titan 2 for 3DS), is coming to Switch. A few details were shared at the event, with Gematsu relaying the following:
- 3D Maneuver Gear actions are more diversified.
- Titan movements have evolved, making battles more exhilarating.
- Players can experience the story of the second season of the television anime.
- The amount of playable characters in Attack on Titan 2 has significantly increased from the 10 playable characters in Koei Tecmo’s first Attack on Titan game. (A specific number was not announced.)
- Players will be able to have deep exchanges with the characters from the original work.
- [???] can be created.
- [???] Mode has been implemented.

Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns DLC screenshots (Woofio)

XSEED Games sent out another round of screenshots from the upcoming Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns DLC. We’re shown Woofio, a bachelor “known for his punny wordplay.”

First screenshots of the major Super Mario Run update

It was revealed earlier today that a major update is on the way to Super Mario Run. On September 29, Nintendo is adding a Remix 10 mode, new playable character Daisy, World Star, and the ability to play your own music. The full details are here.
Meanwhile, Nintendo has sent out the first screenshots of the Super Mario Run update. We’ve included them below.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Celica overview, screenshots, and more

Earlier today, Celica was revealed for Fire Emblem Warriors by Koei Tecmo during a live stream at the Tokyo Game Show. We now have more information on Celica and new gameplay systems, courtesy of Gematsu.

Celica (voiced by Nao Toyama)
The surviving princess of the Zofia royal family, which has fallen. Due to her past, she dislikes war, and is seeking the path to peace.

Weapon
—Awakening
When the Awakening Gauge is filled, you can trigger an Awakening. By doing this, you’ll have the advantage against every enemy in the Weapon Triangle for a fixed period of time. Additionally, after that period ends, an Awakening Attack will trigger.
—Musou Attack
When the Musou Gauge is filled, you can unleash a Musou Attack. This does tremendous damage to a vast range of enemies.

—Bond Conversations
By fighting, the warriors’ mutuan bond levels will rise, and you can witness the bond conversations between two warriors. Enjoy a wide range of conversations that go beyond different Fire Emblem titles.
