The Ice Climbers are not included on the final roster for Super Smash Bros. on 3DS/Wii U. However, there does appear to be some last remnant of them in the 3DS version.

A glitch has been discovered in the Japanese release that results in a “Nana, Popo” chant. This can be heard by playing as Villager and defeating at least two Dr. Marios at once with 100% damage.

For what it’s worth, it doesn’t look like the glitch can be replicated in the US version of the game.

UK Pokemon fans rejoice, a demo for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be heading your way from October 15th. Demo codes for the game will be distributed from select retailers, either online or through various Nintendo Zones. At present retailers involved in this promo include GAME, Amazon, Smyth Toys Superstores, ShopTo and the Nintendo UK Official store. It’s worth noting that the demo content is a self-contained experience and will have content that is completely separate from the main game, like the ability to Mega Evolve a Pokemon and transfer it over to the main game when it drops shortly after.

Dutch fans will also get a chance to get their hands on the demo during the autumn tour on October 11th and 12th, so it looks like the promotion won’t end there!

Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo UK have announced today some new 2DS deals that might just entice some folks to pick up the 3DS’s younger sibling. First, a couple of new 2DS models have been announced that will be available on November 7th, Transparent Red and Transparent Blue which throw back to the colour scheme we first saw in the Game Boy Pocket days. For those that are happy to wait a little longer, there will be a Transparent Red and Transparent Blue Pokemon bundle, which will include Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire respectively, coming November 28th.
