Gamasutra has posted a new Sonic Boom interview with Big Red Button Entertainment director Bob Rafei. There’s a lot here – how SEGA approached the studio, freedom given to re-imagine the franchise, making Sonic more western-friendly, and more.

One Piece: Unlimited World Red coming to Europe, heading to Wii U as well

Bandai Namco has confirmed One Piece: Unlimited World Red for overseas territories, but today’s announcement comes with some surprising news.
In Japan, One Piece: Unlimited World Red was a 3DS-exclusive title. However, the European and Australian release will also be made available on Wii U, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth to feature dungeon mapping, F.O.E. monsters

The Etrian Odyssey games allow players to map out dungeons. Similar functionality will be included in Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, according to this week’s Famitsu. Players will be able to draw the layout of dungeons on the 3DS touch screen.
Famitsu also has the first word on “F.O.E.” monsters. Once encountered, you can choose to either run or try and take them down – again, like Etrian Odyssey. If you do defeat a F.O.E. monster, you may receive something special.
