A lengthy gameplay video has come in for Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions. Get a look at a half hour of footage below.

This week’s Famitsu scans are now available. Highlights include Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, Attack on Titan 2 (3DS), Sonic Forces, Super Mario Odyssey, and Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns+. Scans of all games are below.

As dedicated fans of Mario RPGs might know, Geno from Super Mario RPG makes an appearance in the GBA version of Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. To the disappointment of diehard fans all around, however, Geno seems to have been removed from the 3DS remaster of Superstar Saga.

Originally, Geno could be found as a giver of instructions for a certain minigame, The Star ‘Stache Smash. The minigame has since been reskinned to exclude Geno.

Game Rant has published its full interview with Metroid co-creator Yoshio Sakamoto. Sakamoto touched on why 3DS was chosen as the platform for Metroid: Samus Returns on 3DS, as well as why Metroid II was fit for a remake. He was also asked about possible interest in an animated series / movie, though Sakamoto didn’t have much to say here.

Our next dose of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon news isn’t too far off. Oha Suta, a Japanese variety show in Japan, is teasing a special episode for tomorrow morning (JST) in which they vist The Pokemon Company. It iwll contain a global premiere of footage from the games.

Nothing further is known beyond this. Either way, expect some news about Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon very soon.

The Nintendo UK store has readied a pre-order bonus for Layton’s Mystery Journey. By reserving the game, you’ll gain access to some DLC.

The first piece of DLC is an outfit for Katrielle while the other is a stylish decorative pillow which can be used to decorate the Layton Detective Agency. Apparently the outfit can’t be obtained in the game normally.
