This week’s challenges for Pokémon Shuffle are all repeats, but that doesn’t mean that players shouldn’t check them out. First up is Mega Abomasnow, which is, as usual for Megas, a competitive stage with other players. The coveted Abomasite will go to the top 22,000 players in North America, 15,000 in Europe and 60,000 in Japan. Ranking high in that bracket will earn you some extra prizes, with the top 3,500 in North America, 2,500 in Europe and 10,000 in Japan earning a Mega Speedup, and the top 700 in North America, 500 in Europe and 2,000 in Japan earning 2 Mega Speedups. The top 30,000 in North America, 20,000 in Europe and 80,000 in Japan who don’t qualify for the Abomasite will get an Attack Power, and all other players will get a Disruption Delay. (Note: Since this is a repeat run, players who already have an Abomasite will receive a Raise Max Level instead). This challenge runs until June 7th.

Furthermore, until June 14th, the Keldeo, Infernape, and Giratina stages are all getting repeat runs. While the first two are more traditional stages, the Giratina stage is an Escalation battle, earning players rewards for hitting certain levels throughout the fight (specifically, an EXP Booster S at Level 5, a Disruption Delay at Level 30, a Mega Speed Up at Level 50, an EXP Booster M at Level 85 and a Raise Max Level at Level 100).

First up, maintenance for Minecraft: Wii U Edition is taking place tomorrow:

– 1:50 AM in the UK (June 1) – 3:30 AM in the UK (June 1)

Also, as a bit of an aside, the eShop maintenance we reported on for this week is no longer taking place. We’ll see if Nintendo reschedules it at some point.

Puzzle & Dragons X was featured in a big way today at GungHo Festival 2016. There was news about a couple of collaborations, a versus mode, and more.

The first new Puzzle & Dragons X collaboration ties into Taiko Drum Master: Dokodon! Mystery Adventure. In Puzzle & Dragons X, players will be able to make friends with Don-chan and Tamazo X Don-chan. And in Taiko Drum Master: Dokodon! Mystery Adventure, free music from Puzzle & Dragons X will be offered at launch while also including Tamazo X Don-chan in Adventure Mode.

Monster Hunter Stories will also be seeing a collaboration in Puzzle & Dragons X. Rathalos and Nargacuga are being included as bosses, and it will be possible to create Soul Armor for each. This content will be distributed via a quest on August 10.

Aside from that, GungHo Online Entertainment provided a first look at Puzzle & Dragons’ versus mode, which is accessible at the Dragon Coliseum. The main objective here is to eliminate your opponent’s health. Battles are carried out by choosing skills and then playing a puzzle. The game determines the amount of damage for both players, and the person who has the higher attack amount can damage their opponent.

Check out the video below for footage of the collaborations and versus mode, as well as a trailer for the anime series, and a commercial for the title itself. We also included some gameplay that ties into the new toys.
