Lonesome Village release date

Ogre Pixel has nailed down a release date for Lonesome Village, its puzzle-solving fantasy adventure game. The studio announced today that the title is hitting Switch on November 1, 2022.

Lonesome Village was previously confirmed for Switch in 2020 after being funded on Kickstarter. The game, which doesn’t feature combat, will have players uncovering the mysterious and magical past of the town and saving it from the hands of evil. We have more details below. 

Arkanoid Eternal Battle Limited Edition

Microids and Pastagames have shared more details about the cross-play Battle Royale mode for Arkanoid Eternal Battle and we also have news about a limited edition.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake BFF Edition

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is getting a special “BFF Edition”, THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp revealed today. Pre-orders are also already starting to go live.

The collector’s edition includes the “Cosmic Victory” statue measuring 25cm / 9.8″, inflatable Patrick measuring 50cm / 19.7″, a BFF amulet with necklace, four costume miniature bouncing balls, four placemats, a copy of the game, and costume pack DLC.

Tiny Troopers: Global Ops reveal

Publisher Wired Productions and developer Epiphany Games today issued a gameplay reveal trailer for Tiny Troopers: Global Ops. The project was first announced in early 2021, though this is our first proper look.

Here’s some information about the game:

It has been some time since we heard from Flowstone Saga, which was successfully funded via Kickstarter and was previously expected to release on Switch via the eShop in Summer 2022. Developer Impact Gameworks have confirmed that the game is still coming to Switch, but will now release sometime in 2023.

RedDeerGames have revealed that the next game they will be bringing Ammo Pigs: Armed and Delicious to Switch via the eShop. Developed by Cascadia Games, the game is a retro-style 2D platformer shooter and will be available at the end of this week on October 7.

Sonic Frontiers Soap Shoes

SEGA has a new offer in place that will let players obtain Soap Shoes for Sonic Frontiers.

To get involved, you’ll need to sign up for the official newsletter by January 31, 2023 and share your name, date of birth, country, and preferred platform. Fans can enter their details, and they’ll be provided with a code after the game’s launch via email. Additional information will follow later on regarding specifics about the in-game content and how to redeem the code.

Fire Emblem Heroes Divine Harvest

Divine Harvest has been announced as the next summoning event for Fire Emblem Heroes, and it comes just in time for Halloween.

The lineup includes female Corrin: Starry Seer (voiced by Marcella Lentz-Pope, art by Yoshiro Ambe), male Corrin: Celestial Sorcerer (voiced by Cam Clarke, art by argon), Naga: Harvest Divinity (voiced by Mela Lee, art by hanusu), and Duma: Strength and Love as a duo (voiced by Josh Petersdorf + Monica Rial, art by DAI-XT.) Female corrin has the learnable skills Moonlight Stone, Negating Fang, Atk/Spd Finish 4, Dragon’s Wrath 4, and Joint Drive Atk. For male Corrin, it’s Starlight Stone, Moonbow, Distant Stance, and Dragon’s Ire 4. The skills for Naga are Serenity Breath+, Rally Up Atk+, Atk/Res Catch 3, and Atk/Res Rein 3. Finally, Duma features Ghostly Lanterns, Glimmer, Distant Ferocity, Dragon Wall 3, and Woeful Upheaval.
