Monster Hunter Rise director Yasunori Ichinose recently sat down with Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream to share some tidbits about the game’s development. The game actually began its development back on the 3DS, with a small team experimenting with modifications to Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.
The same part of the discussion also gives insight into how the situation with COVID impacted development.

You could really make the case that Konami and Digital Eclipse went all out with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection between all of the different games included, support for online play, tons of behind-the-scenes content, and more. Splatoon 3 is the next big Switch game from Nintendo and is just a couple of weeks away. Most have likely made a decision as to whether they’ll be picking it up in September. However, there is also the Splatfest demo happening right now that gives players a bit of a preview of what they can expect from the final game.

A major 4.0.0 update was recently released for Steven Universe: Unleash the Light on Switch.
New content is included here along with adjustments, improvements, and fixes. One highlight is the addition of Greg as a playable character. Also included is Rose’s Room, a new roguelite gameplay mode that mixes up the structure, rules, and pacing.

With Splatoon 3 set to arrive on Switch soon, now’s as good a time as any for us to publish our pre-order guide the game, which will contain information about many major retailer reservations as well as any bonuses that are announced.
As the name implies, Splatoon 3 is the third major entry in the series and the second title on Switch. Many elements are returning like Turf War and Salmon Run, though there’ll be new stages and bosses. Also, an entirely new story mode is planned where players can discover the secrets of Alterna, the Fuzzy Ooze, and how they connect to the mode’s theme, “Return of the Mammalians”.
