Type-Moon shared the latest news about Witch on the Holy Night today with a new trailer plus the announcement of a demo.
With the demo, we know that it’s planned for November. A specific date was not provided and there’s no word on how much content it will include.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 fans have looked through the game’s files following the release of the new version 1.2.0 update and wave 2 DLC, and via a datamine, have apparently discovered the design for the next new Hero.
