Get ready for the Divine Deception summon showcase — featuring both 5-Star adventurer Faris and 5-Star dragon Gabriel. Faris, a gun toting adventurer, is of the fire element, while the angelic dragon Gabriel is water elemented. The showcase will be available from 10PM PT this evening. Tetris 99 – 20th Maximus Cup announced, features Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury theme

Nintendo has announced the 20th Maximus Cup for Tetris 99. A new theme is being added to the lineup, which is based on Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.
Players can unlock it by accumulating at least 100 event points. Once that mark is reached, you’ll get the theme featuring art, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.

Wii U update out now (version 5.5.5)

Wii U isn’t receiving much attention these days given that it’s Nintendo’s last-gen console, but the system just received another system update. That’s right – there’s a new firmware upgrade for the system in all regions. The console is now at version 5.5.5.
According to Nintendo, today’s update is all about system stability and usability – similar to many of the Wii U’s other firmware updates in recent years. The official note states: “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”
