In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield have started a new Max Raid Battle event.

Players are more likely to encounter Milcery, and its shiny version may even appear. Battles will award various Sweets, including Star Sweets and Ribbon Sweets.

One Step From Eden

A major update went out this week for One Step From Eden, a mashup of strategic deck-building and real-time action with rogue-like elements. The game should now be at version 1.5.

This week’s update includes a bunch of additional content, including new spells, new artifacts, Saffron boss fight, an easy mode, and more. You can find the full patch notes below.

Stardew Valley

The big 1.5 update for Stardew Valley is here on Switch. It should be going live automatically, though you can also force the patch to download via the system’s home menu.

ConcernedApe has previously said that version 1.5 includes major late-game content. It’s been described as “by far the biggest solid chunk of new content that’s been added to the game since launch.”

Monster Hunter Rise

IGN has offered up the latest look at Monster Hunter Rise, which highlights the new Aknosom Switch Axe in the Frost Islands map. We also get to see combos performed by a Great Sword, Bow, Insect Glaive, Dual Blades, and Hunting Horn.

King's Bounty II

King’s Bounty II, the latest entry in the turn-based tactics series, was originally planned for 2020. It was pushed back to this March. The game is now seeing another delay, with 1C Entertainment and Deep Silver setting a new date of August 24.

Bandai Namco

Bandai Namco has kicked off a new Switch eShop sale for February 2021. It includes a variety of games, including the recently-released Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure Pack.

Spiritfarer

Thunder Lotus Games has revealed a trio of updates planned for its cozy management game Spiritfarer. They will be released in spring, summer, and fall.

The upcoming updates “will contain their own set of changes, including new spirits, new buildings, new resources and overall quality of life improvements to the game.” More information can be found below.

Speed Limit

Strictly Limited Games, in partnership with Gamechuck and Chorus Worldwide, has announced plans to produce a physical version of Speed Limit. Pre-orders begin on February 21.

3,300 copies will be produced on Switch. Speed Limit’s physical release will also have a separate bundle containing the game’s soundtrack, a sticker, and a poster, and is limited to just 700 copies. We’ll also mention that 149 aluminum art cards will be available.

Harvest Moon: One World

Today, Natsume unveiled its DLC plans for Harvest Moon: One World, which will kick off at launch and continue into May. The lineup includes the Interior Design & Tool Upgrade Pack, the Far East Adventure Pack, the Precious Pets Pack, and the Mythical Wild Animals Pack. A season pass is also planned.

Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty - Alf's Escape DLC

The action puzzle platformer Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty has been given some new DLC. Alf’s Escape has been added to the Switch eShop, and can be downloaded entirely for free.
