Gex Trilogy trailer

A launch trailer has come through for Gex Trilogy. With its release, the package has brought us three classic titles.

Here’s the official eShop description:

June 4: With Nintendo rolling out Switch 2, the company has confirmed that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Nintendo Switch Sports have issues on the new console. However, plans are already in place for patches.

For Smash Bros. Ultimate, an online match may end right away if a Switch 1 and Switch 2 player start a match with one person using a Mii Fighter, so it’s advised to avoid using the character currently. Additionally, when creating or modifying a Mii Fighter and saving it, the thumbnail image may not save correctly (saving again may solve this issue).

Shuten Order Himeru and Mikotoru

The latest Shuten Order trailer is available which shows off two characters: Himeru and Mikotoru. Both of these are angels in the game.

Here’s some information about both:

Little Nightmares Showcase

We’re soon set to get an update on the Little Nightmares series, as a new showcase has been announced for June 24. The event begins at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM in the UK / 9 PM in Europe. We’ll add in the live stream link here once it’s available.

Thus far Bandai Namco is keeping quiet on the details. However, fans can expect to hear about the latest news for the series.

Nintendo issued a new firmware update for Switch 2 last night, but what we didn’t know at the time is that has fixed Carbon Engine-based games on the system.

These are essentially classic titles that Limited Run Games had brought over to the previous console. We had recently heard that there were backwards compatibility issues on Nintendo Switch 2, though a “majority” now work properly – just make sure you download version 20.1.15.

The full lineup of working games is as follows:

Hogtie

March 24: Today, RedDeerGames and Alacrity Studios announced Hogtie for Nintendo Switch. The title is targeting a Q3 2025 launch.

Hogtie is a Sokoban puzzle adventure game. The goal here is to wrangle mischievous pigs with your lasso and guide them back to their pens. Mixing things up are different biomes, tiles with unique effects, and character customization.
